  • I saw Mama Africa perform in Lusaka just months before she died. An honour for a now 40 yr old who grew up listening to her music played by his parents. She was indeed a legend

  • Beautiful lady man! ♥

  • Thanks for posting this :)

  • To all, i believe it was just her time to go

God saw fit to take her. God said "well done"

  • Bedankt voor deze geweldige clip van haar toegift in Tilburg. Ik was daar aanwezig die avond en ook 2 dagen later in Paradiso.

  • I love you mama Africa. Thanks a million for all.

    RIPP

  • MARIAM MAKEBA

  • Hoi Meke,

    prachtig!

  • Wow, we are watching one of the last performance of one of the world most legendary singers. Mariam Makeba would die a few days later and it is obvious that the South African Songbird is ill, but a great Diva like herself would never stop performing and passed away doing what she loved the best. Rest in peace.

  • I truly admaired Mama Africa she was a beautiful woman and I am truly greatful to know she was an angel who blessed the world with music. I always wished I would have an opportunity to meet her. Rest in Peace sweet angel!!

  • I was born in south Africa and since 11 years iam living in Germany. Mariam was a greatfly woman in the African Counternat. I first saw her in 1992 wenn she visitet the crave for her Mother in south Africa and last saw her in a concert in Germany 2001 and let me tell you she was still the some as for 20 year. I love you soo much Mama Africa, robala ka kgotso, lala kahla, rest in peace. I will remember you smile all the time.

  • I grew up in a small town in Indiana with Mariam Makeba. I first heard Pata Pata, and the Click song, and we were all trying to sing the words and do the clicks with her! She was one of the best singers in the world, and a champion for the whole continent of Africa and its people. We will miss you, Miriam, but I know you are now singing with the angels, and rocking that choir!!

  • Thank you for this video. Great memory of a wonderful human being and one of the best singers of the last century. The concert in Paradiso was impressive, her death so soon after this concert is a great shock. Let us remember and honor Mama Africa

  • she looked fine in this vid. I wonder if something went wrong in that little hospital

  • I made this video at the end of the concert. You could see she was very tired. She was wonderfull

  • yes, she was.

  • the hospital was ok.

She was dying already in the backstage..

she was sick and fat, her heart was fucked up.
