  • Alignement you can do with the Design Intent, Assemble tool. yuo pick the one solid you wish to move towards or in relationship to another, click Shift and select the other solid. You have many different options to align two solids (centre, flush, tangent etc.). there are other videos in this series that show that. Best place to ask such questions btw is to join the forum - there are many users there who exchange knowledge and many such questions have been already answered.

  • hi VisualDraft. to move solids you need to select them in the browser (expand the browser tree) or in the UI, right click, Move/Scale/rotate and using the UI manipulators for move, you drag in the desired direction.

  • I didn't find time to play with the beta 7 features but, now that I've seen the new stuff in beta 8, this is on my list for the Xmas hols. I particularly like the 3D slicing along a path.
