I think everything happens for a reason. She is much better off solo than to be in a group or duo imo. Sure she doesn't have success...yet, but she is starring in a new horror movie with T-ara's Eunjung so hopefully it will be a box office success and Nega, the company also has Brown Eyed Girls, will release new music.

@leighiauy It's possible that it's the agency's fault. Some artists aren't given much attention because their agency doesn't promote them well, doesn't make any hype for them, stuff like that.

@gurungmadan it wasn't because she wanted to debut earlier....it was because her sister (yenny), she wanted her sister to be famous....but she wasn't good enough so yg made her a backup dancer....and may doni had dreams for her sister so they both left YG......I think either of this excuse is inexcusable, she was talented enough to get into YG but she gave it all up for her sister....seriously???

@xcrashxlandingx since I try to look for a professional performance and find nothing but practices and school ones I don't know what else can she do besides looking sad in each song. I recognize her voice is powerful but, from what i'm seeing she is no where near to be better than CL, Minzy, Dara or Bom, least of all 2ne1 as a whole. I'm not hatin because she has potential and YG saw that, but she left way too early so she is unprepared, n is not the case of promotions ether(see next comment)

But then May Doni in the end went to another agency, there's saying that she drop out cuz of her sister...others said that YG was taking too long to debut 2NE1, so she decides to move on with her life....I think she has a good voice, but I'm happy with 2NE1 actually...LOL...she just need a better management. It would've been better if she stayed with YG. He knows his artists the most...

She should have stayed at JYP and debut as a soloist. If she stayed at YG, she would've been in 2ne1 which I think being a soloist is a much better idea because it really shows her talent and potential.
