it would be a lot better if they were to start with the Rooster Crow...say right after they introduce the visitors, turn the lights off then the rooster crow 3 times and perhaps play Cocky's 2001 - then introduce the players and then play the C-A-R-O-L-I-N-A gooo cocks song that the band plays. that would be a basketball version of the football entrance. Many universities play the same song and do the same thing that it's not unique and fun. We need to make it different.
