sick bullshit.. this insane motherfuckers at the goverment must leave the country! because of them theire people are suffering and dying. stop this communist, crazy psychos! bomb them away god damn.. everyone who likes this video is a brainwashed, dumb piece of shit!
if im nkorean i will do my best to ba an athlete so i can see the real world and how beautiful it is than being prisoned in my own country!!!atleast for a short period of time i can be free!
It speaks volumes about how a nation expresses itself through entertainment and culture. Despite their economic hardship, the DPRK is fortunate that its government provents the American entertainment industry from vomiting upon the people.
When Kim Jong Il dies, and no worthy successor is found, DPRK will fall prey to the Washington Consensus. North Korea will be overwhelmed by the great flood of detritus, belching out of America. The people will be quickly brought into bondage to the IMF.
never mind. hongkong business people are nearly ready to get in. after all china is eating the whole. beijing and hongkong are just waiting KJL to past away and his third son succeeds. the successor lives in hongkong. you know what i mean? south and americans have to be cleverer. otherwise you'd fall in china's trap. take care.
The world needs a few human sanctuaries that are free of western commercialism. DPRK is no paradise but, they are free from the malfeasance imposed by foreign banks. Their society would collapse by low-grade western entertainment
North Korean oligarchs need to prepare for KJL's death and have a coup ready to overthrow his dynastic successor. The oligarchs should order up a Juche republic and return to the policies of Kim Il Sung that worked. Most important, keep the global banking cartels OUT!
better than eaten by those hk banks and the beijing govt who wants more mineral resources. KIS is truly the symbol for Juche. but.. we can't blame KJL too much. he did better than they say under such circumstances. they hate russia who was eaten by the capitalists without certain plans. it's the worst sample. if they could develop themselves by using the mineral resources and their highly skills, then it'll help the south as well. it's a hard time for both the north&south any ways. the fate.
@InfiniteMushroom if you find yourself typing "DPRK is no paradise but..." then you should really look in the mirror and see if it's not a crank standing there.
wow. this is indeed the most beautiful presentation the north koreans have ever made. i can hardly imagine all the training they had to go through just to perform on this occasion.
obviously, bush made comments about food consumption in china and india which threat world-wise inflation on food (?)prices. do you really agree with that? that is just like the propaganda jong il makes, no better no worse.
If you don't like our president fine I really could care less of your view on my country or my President, but to compare Bush to Kim jong il is ridiculous!
That is like comparing S. R. Nathan to Ali Khamenei it makes no sense at all!
Anyway over it, all hail Kim jong il because he is a better leader than George W Bush!LOL! Moron!
@minicko "comments about food consumption in china and india which threat world-wise inflation on food (?)prices" yeah, question mark is right. you don't even know what the hell you're talking about.
wow. i think you should calm down. so what. you think bush is alot better than jong il.ja well i think you should think twice to say anything positive about the bush, if you dont wanna sound like a fucking american village fat idiot who eat too much. you know, now everybody has problems with food and stuff(bush voter?you understand my english no? at least?) ja basically fuck off
I just read the story of your trip to NK and it was excellent. The way life goes on there is truly something. It has made me more interested in the country and makes me wonder how such a strictly goverment-controlled nation can exist in our day. But although it is so controlled, I am surprised that you actually had the chance to talk to those school children, even if you didn't actually get to have a conversation.
You shoulda seen OUR group there. Everyone in our group had relatives in North Korea and spoke fluent korean, so we asked locals for directions, asked about life, etc. we also forced kids to take candy from us. very fun!
So the government is becoming a little less strict with tourists? Because I heard that visitors could not under any circumstances communicate with locals.
well, we were chinese tourists. BUT, our tour guide didn't let us call within the country. (our relatives). Not sure how it is for europeans or americans tho
@marzilyas LOL this was a long time ago. I wasn't nearly as coherent as I am now. I was in the seventh grade. Anyways, we didn't "force" them to take candy. We just threw some candy out of our train to some kids while we were waiting to leave Pyongyang. But I learned a lot. North Koreans think it's crazy how, in america, divorce is so common, people are so obsessed with material goods, protests are allowed yet can lead to riots, etc. We each have our own opinions about each other's country.
@marzilyas One could say that the USA is a tragic disaster as well, with so much obesity and shallow consumerism and unrest and our unemployment rate. But for every one of those negatives, I can find five reasons why I like the US. Same goes for North Korea. Our standards of happy living are different from theirs. The country has plenty of problems, but that doesn't mean it's a "tragic disaster". They just have a lot to work on.
@alexyoung123 You think the US is bad? Try working on a fucking dirt farm in some farming collective in North Korea. I don't think you quite understand just how much harder life is for the vast majority of people of there, and you've even been there (supposedly)!
@marzilyas Or, work three jobs while trying to support a family, pay rent/bills, buy food, and save for your kids' education. They're difficult in their own ways. And yes, I've been there, but I was only shown the good side of North Korea. I do have relatives there though (and they've visited mainland China). Life's hard, but they take joy in the simpler things in life, like most people do during hard times.
@alexyoung123 you are thoughtful for your age, but once again, I don't think you realize the difference between working 3 jobs in the United States and being an unpaid agricultural worker in a soviet-style collective. You should take a class on Soviet history in college if you get a chance, or just read up yourself (books, not internet).
It is propaganda.

Still, a good show.
