Linda was one hell of a lady but the shit she got from the press was unreal, yet she never let it beat her. Linda IS such a huge inspiration to me too.....since she was a vegetarian and fought for animals rights, I am vegetarian too and I love that she convinced Paul to become a vegetarian as well. I am also into photography, I LOVE her photographs. Shes a role model to me. Shes wonderful ♥ Oh, AND we both share the same b-day :)
I admire Linda soooo much for her genuine personality and all the wonderful things that she has done. She was a very special person that raised her children the right way and set Paul straight when the Beatles broke up. She was just amazing! I wish I could have met her., and Paul of course. When John would see Paul after The Beatles, he would take off his glasses and say, "It's only me". So I guess, and Paul has said this too, his glasses were his shield. Inside, he was a sentimental and loving person, but he always carried a chip on his shoulder until the very end of his life. I think that they were friends all along.
When I say all along, I mean that, yes, they did feud, yes, they did write negative songs about each other, but in their hearts they were still friends and nothing could stop them from being friends, not even the feud.
I wouldn't say that she's putting on a "fake" accent! I'm American but have British relatives, and would visit them during summers as a small child, and would develop the South Devon accent by the time that I left the place! She had a really hard time right after she married him too, and if not for her he very well might have sunk down to a level that he would not have succeeded as well as he did. Like she stated, so she married the "cute" Beatle, she still had a real tough go of it the first couple of years. He himself stated that he was not very pleasant for her to live with the first couple of years.
Linda seemed like a really down-to-earth girl. How lucky for Paul that she came along to ground him and balance him. Probably helped him keep his sanity in an insane business and celebrity culture. A star like Michael Jackson could've used someone like Linda in his life.

I bought Paul McCartney's "Gppd Evening New York City" dvd, and I saw the performance "My Love" which I think is the best song he performed (which was actually dedicated to Linda). As soon as the song began, drops of rain began to pour 'till I noticed Paul McCartneys puppydog eyes began to water - and I found that very emotional; Paul and Linda make a perfect couple.
I wondered the same thing, but you tend to pick it up, especially if you're exposed to it for years and years. My aunt grew up in the Northeast, but moved to the south as a young woman. She married a southerner and lived there for 30 plus years. She now has a southern accent.
She was such a nice lady. I feel really, really bad for Paul. I mean, he lost three very important people for him in his life: his mother, John and Linda. And the worst thing is that he lost his mother and his wife for the same reason, wich is so sad. RIP John and Linda.
I feel so bad for Paul. His mother died of breast cancer when he was young, and then Linda did too. Paul is so strong. I respect Paul and Linda, they were so down to earth. Linda is so pretty.
I think that's a decision everyone has to make for themselves - perhaps Paul was lonely and felt he needed a companion, even though no-one could replace Linda in his eyes. John was all bravado. He got way too personal in the feud. Paul, while engaging in the feud to an extent, generally stayed away from personal attacks. When John would see Paul after The Beatles, he would take off his glasses and say, "It's only me". So I guess, and Paul has said this too, his glasses were his shield. Inside, he was a sentimental and loving person, but he always carried a chip on his shoulder until the very end of his life. I think that they were friends all along.

I wouldn't say that she's putting on a "fake" accent! I'm American but have British relatives, and would visit them during summers as a small child, and would develop the South Devon accent by the time that I left the place! It can't be helped! lol But it's been years since I've been to the U.K. I just sound southern now lol

It hurts me so much knowing that bad things can happen to good people but this is how the world works unfortunately. Linda was the best thing that has ever happened to Paul . She had a really hard time right after she married him too, and if not for her he very well might have sunk down to a level that he would not have succeeded as well as he did. Like she stated, so she married the "cute" Beatle, she still had a real tough go of it the first couple of years. He himself stated that he was not very pleasant for her to live with the first couple of years.

Linda seemed like a really down-to-earth girl. How lucky for Paul that she came along to ground him and balance him. Probably helped him keep his sanity in an insane business and celebrity culture. A star like Michael Jackson could've used someone like Linda in his life.

I bought Paul McCartney's "Gppd Evening New York City" dvd, and I saw the performance "My Love" which I think is the best song he performed (which was actually dedicated to Linda). As soon as the song began, drops of rain began to pour 'till I noticed Paul McCartneys puppydog eyes began to water - and I found that very emotional; Paul and Linda make a perfect couple.

I wondered the same thing, but you tend to pick it up, especially if you're exposed to it for years and years. My aunt grew up in the Northeast, but moved to the south as a young woman. She married a southerner and lived there for 30 plus years. She now has a southern accent.

She was such a nice lady. I feel really, really bad for Paul. I mean, he lost three very important people for him in his life: his mother, John and Linda. And the worst thing is that he lost his mother and his wife for the same reason, wich is so sad. RIP John and Linda.

I feel so bad for Paul. His mother died of breast cancer when he was young, and then Linda did too. Paul is so strong. I respect Paul and Linda, they were so down to earth. Linda is so pretty.

I think that's a decision everyone has to make for themselves - perhaps Paul was lonely and felt he needed a companion, even though no-one could replace Linda in his eyes. But on the other hand, he maybe didn't make the right decision. I remember reading at the time that his children warned him that Heather Mills was only out for his money.

Yes thank you. I knew that. The amazing coincidence is that her family's original surname was Epstein. Not a lot of Epsteins in this world. Strange that two of them would be main characters in Paul's life. Do you know if Linda practised her religion? Vegetarianism must be the ultimate kosher diet.

And no, she did not develop a fake British accent at all! I moved to New York from England 2 years ago and after only a few months living there started to get a New York accent. I can't help having it!
