Whichever way - Freddie would have been SO proud to have listened to Shirley's version.

Brian May and the others certainly are. It's an emotional song that deserves an emotional singer to cover it.....not sure anyone else could have, with quite the careful tenderness Shirley projects here.

I agree to disagree with you. Although I have been Queen Free for over 15 years, I always believe their songs belong to them alone. Nobody should cover them. I stand by my comments.

I think Shirley did a great cover of this song, i've added both versions to my collection, Shirley's and the original one.

Everybody should be allowed to cover a song that belongs to someone else, that keeps the music alive.
