  • if you want to capture video gameplay you can use AVerMedia Game Capture HD. This unit does not need to be connected to a PC and will capture gameplay directly to a USB external HDD. The will be no lag while record and the best thing is that it can record 1080i gameplay.

  • Does this work with GameCube?

  • ignore my last comment, will u add me on ssbb if i send u my code?

  • What method is best for call of duty black ops wii? alsoi, how much will it all cost?

  • Wire spliters your using but with less money buy from ebay 99 cents

  • Hey in stead of buying all that cable just buy a rca splitter its like the spli

  • Hey the 2 cables come with the dazzle pack or you have to buy them separate?

  • does anyone use frapps?... im getting sick of the 30 seconds recording...

  • @Tonytoad22 thanks so much !! (:

  • what if you have an HDMI cable connected to your tv. can i still use the reular audio and video cables to record my games??

  • @TheWapako Im not sure if you can do that you may want to try it out and see if it works. What console are you using??

  • whats the music??????

  • is the limit on youtube still 1 GB?

  • @RetroJoystick No I think it 2GB now

  • @TonyToad22 oh ok, thanks :) btw, thank you so much for the tutorial!

  • @TonyToad22 thank you ! Damn I have to get a new comp ! What do u recommend ! :)

  • @Jordyp122 An HP or a Dell. I have the HP you see in the vid its 2003 still work fine just has to be taken care of. Dell is also a good one but dont take my word for it do some research figure out what works best for you =)

  • @TonyToad22 Shit man, back in '06, I spend a few weeks to research and 'round 3 grand to build my gaming PC, but now, it's obsolete. Would you think it's wise to build one to my specs or just get a HP or Dell like you mentioned?

  • @Jordyp122 mac!!

  • Hey I have a HD PVR but a shit comp !! Do I have to buy any thing more to edit my videos ! :) please help !

  • @Jordyp122 That cool!! Hmmm ... you might have to get a new computer to use HDPVR it requires 2GHZ Dual Core processor and 256 MB of video memory.

  • i have a problem. I have the kworld and whenever i want to record it comes up with a box saying unable to start recording any solutions i have the power director 8

  • @wilbo45 sorted my problem but now when i plug everything in i get sound in the computer but just a blank screen i use the kworld and power director 8 please help me because i have spent so much money on this

  • music is annoying as FUCK

  • lol The Yellow is for audio and the red and white are for sound.

    XD

  • @TheYoshiKid haha yeah I messed up there XD

  • 1.8 GHZ WEAK YOU POOR FAGGOT

  • Hello? It's me again (The guy with the Kworld capture card), I have another problem, I fixed everything I thought it was wrong but now, another obstacle appeared. The image on the screen is right, the problem is that there's no sound at all. Again my friend, what's wrong?

  • @kaoz9000 It could be the audio device settings make sure it is set to your capture card. If that is already set try checking your computers advanced volume controls (i.e. Wave, SW Synth, CD Player, Line In). Capture cards usually use "Line In" try setting that to max. I usually set everything to max except the main volume control.

  • Hey can you help me pls ?

first : i used windows movie maker but the window that shows what i am recording is too small is ther a way to make it bigger ?

  • @TheWhiteRusher I don't know if you can make the preview window bigger or not on Vista or Windows 7. I have Windows XP and on my WMM you I can't make it bigger.

  • @TonyToad22

    ok thanks ;)

  • can u help me with a silvercrest videograbber???

  • @JRgamehelps I'll do my best to help. What's the problem?

  • @TonyToad22 well i plug in all the cables (i dont use the splitters) just directly in my videograbber, but i only hear the audio but i dont have anny gameplay just the sound of it. thanks for helping me !

  • @JRgamehelps Make sure the video input source is set to composite.

  • @TonyToad22 can u change it for me i dont have realy experience with this ? with teamviewer

  • @JRgamehelps Sure I can try.

  • everyone if u want a better idea check out my review on the easycap capture card

  • I'm using the Kworld tool with Power Director but in the icon list when it is detecting the dispositives, the TV icon doesn't appear. What's wrong?

  • @kaoz9000

    Make sure...

    - everything is connected correctly

    - that your computer has USB 2.0. If your computer has USB 1.0 your computer may lag when recording or not recognize the device

    - you install the KWorld software driver into your computer

... if the problem continues it may be a problem with Power Director.

  • any way anyone could upload rock band/guitar hero tracks somewhere? dazzle is quite expensive. Im looking to play drums to songs but without the drum track and practice mode is perfect!

  • I don't have and will not buy a $100 Dazzle. Thanks a lot. Every freaking tutorial I've watched has a Dazzle recorder.

  • thank you sooooo much for the info it REALLY helped

  • Excellent video...but where did get and how much did you pay for Power Director?

  • @Lostworld711 Power Director cost around $50-$100 (USD) depending on what version you get. Check their website for more info.

  • When I'm recording with my Dazzle, it doesn't lag when recording Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Also, you CAN record on HD, if you have the Dazzle HD Plus, which I have. Just watch my video response. By the way, nice tutorial.

  • This is far by the BEST tutorial I've seen in my entire life. Now I know how to record my Guitar Hero 3. But then I have to wait for my dad to get home to by the cables and the recorder :P. I'm going to like this, and subscribe. Once I'm done with my video, I'll put it as a video response so you can see it and tell me if there's anything wrong.

    YOU ROCK MAN!

  • this is probably one of the best tutorials i ever seen, i dont even have to ask questions, everything is well detailed. in video and description, very good job

  • Pause Video @ 04:51 WHAT THE FUCK IS LUIGI DOING TO MARIO?!?!?!?!?!

  • Wow does that CyberLink Powe Director come with the Kworld DVD Maker?

Because i watched this video a while back and then i didn't watch it all so my mom bought me a dazzle i had known i would've gotten the Kworld...

  • will the first way work with n64?

i want to upload goldeneye 007 and pefect dark videos.

  • PERFECT dark

  • @DewittDude989 If the N64 comes with composite cables (yellow, red and white) then it should work.

  • is there any other way cuse i have my pc connected to my TV and my xbox is connected to my TV. What other ways are there???

  • @John56389 There are other ways but I would't know how to explain them. There are ways to get nice captures with a camcorder but again, I wouldn't know how to explain it. Search around YouTube and the internet your sure to find a way that you'll like best.

  • looks crapy but if you want to record hd like ps3 and xbox hd you can do it with a blue rays or dvd hd wwich has a hdmi cable and do the same thing as you record with dvd

  • crapy

  • For some reason I can't record my video in Windows Movie Maker.

    Doesn't show the "capture video".

I tried both Vista Windows Movie Makers(2.6) and the Windows 7 one.

  • @LuckyJournal I have Windows XP, not Vista so i dont know what the vista version of Windows Movie Maker is like. But i have looked at a few videos of the Vista version.

Under "import" there is "from video camera" click that and you should be able to capture from there.

  • @TonyToad22 Thanks I'll try it out.

I'll just leave another comment saying whether or not it worked.

  • Awesome video!! 5/5 and have sub. thanks. i hope you have a great day.

    Cheers,

    Tanya. :)

  • I play games on my computer so how can I record to with good graphics and audio?

  • @djdj165 If your computer has S-Video signal you can use that but you might want another computer to record with because trying to play and record off the same computer might cause lag. For audio that the audio out from the gaming computer and plug it into the recording computer's audio in. Thats the only way I can think of right now ... you might want to try looking another way.

  • @TonyToad22 well I have downloaded this program called WeGames wich lets me recored good quality videos by recording the screen, only problem is that the audio won't work even when I enabled it.

  • @djdj165 fraps look it up

  • @mtvprankes I downloaded fraps. All it let me do is record 30 second crumy videos.

  • can u make the cybelink power director to record in full screen?

  • @alexael1994

IF you mean record in full screen without the black borders then you can't record without having those borders. But you can fix that by adding a Zoom In effect to your video.

IF you mean record in Full Screen (4:3) not Wide Screen (16:9) then it can only record in Full Screen. If you want Wide Screen change the aspect ratio to make it Wide screen.

  • how do u zoom

  • I know this is the same thing but You should try GameBridge Its So Much Easy er

  • how much does all this usually cost? for everything and a dazzle? for everything and a kword? thanks so much

  • hey can i use Debut Video Capture Software to record my game AND my voice. if not can i just make the video and then just add the voice after.

  • @MrGuitarguy99 If you want you could but I would recommend voicing over your videos after you record.

  • @TonyToad22 hey how about i just put the AV cables from the wii directly to the dazzle (without av splitters) and just see what i am doing on my computer. will that work?

  • @MrGuitarguy99 Yeah you could do that too. Try it out and see if you like it. I tried it but I didn't like it but you should see if it would work for you.

  • @TonyToad22 how can i record my voice while i record the video using Pinnacle Studios 12.1?

  • @MrGuitarguy99 I wouldn't know how, I don't have Pinnacle Studio. I know that what I have (Power Director) lets you record voice while recording video and I found that out but playing around with the program to see what it can do. Change the audio capture settings around and run a few test to find out if Pinnacle Studio can record voice and video at the same time.

  • @TonyToad22 how bout with Movie maker?

  • @MrGuitarguy99 As far as I know WMM can't capture both video and voice over at the same time, but I could be wrong. Maybe the Vista version does but I wouldn't know I don't have Vista.

  • @TonyToad22 ok... i'll try that :p

  • @TonyToad22 hey tody, i made a vid for youtube using windows movie maker, but fking youtube wount let me post it, could u tell me what to use inorder for me to be able to post it on youtube.

  • @dennis13636

If you rendered the video right, it should be fine just make sure the video is in the YouTube time and size limits.

If that all is ok and your trying to upload it onto YouTube and it keeps failing before it finishes uploading then it may be a YouTube or internet connection problem, I cant help you there, sorry.

  • @TonyToad22 how bout Movie Maker

  • how old is your dazzle? i've tried doing the same thing with my dazzle but my computer won't recognize it. do you have a link to an updated driver so the dazzle will work on Windows 7 64 bit?

  • @ThatLeftyD You might have to do a driver update. I added a link to the driver download. Be careful when looking for the driver for your Dazzle because there is a long list.

  • hey where can i get the AV cable extensions

  • @MrGuitarguy99 You can get them at a electronics store (Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc) or you can look them up online Amazon usually has them at cheap prices

  • Hey the software that came on the dazzle dvd recorder can be used on a mac

  • @paqotote No, Dazzle DVD Recorder doesnt work with Mac (at least as far as I know). The same company that makes Dazzel actually has a capture card especially for Mac. A link to the web page is in the description.

  • thnxs man. i am so going to get this

  • Thank's man i was already planning on doing exactly this set-up (w/ Dazzle) but since it was so much simpler than everyone else's i feared it wouldn't work. 5/5 Star'd you.

  • how much does this all cost if its over 20 bucks i cant get it until maybe 3 months

  • Unfortunately this may all add up to be more than $20(USD). You can try to find them for a cheaper price online or you can always wait.

  • Well everything here is under or def right around $20 except the Dazzle. A good one today cost about $80 but you can find them cheaper used if you're willing to take the risk. Also you really do need a Dazzle people go for cheaper stuff but you need Dazzle like Tony said to get the software.

  • thank you, great video

  • is the title of this product - Pinnacle - Dazzle DVD Recorder Plus Video Capture Cable?

Because that is the capture card i'm looking to buy sooo reply, thanks.

  • Yes it is.

  • Can u please tell me how to get that side bar on the left of ur computer screen

  • Its called Rocket Dock link is in the video description.

  • @TonyToad22 thanx its cuz i was watching it on the iphone and sadly it doesnt show the whole description

  • screw dazzles they are so dumb and every1 is using them!!!!

  • hey man how much di you pay for the dazzle and for the kworld movie maker and how much were those cables that you used

  • Dazzle cost me around $30 (USD) its usually $50. KWorld about $50 its usually $70. I found them both cheaper than the usual price because they were on sale. As for the cables, you shouldn't pay more than $20 for all the cables. I actually found and bought cable splitters at a 99 cent store and they worked fine. The rest of my cables I found lying around at home. If you can't find any place that sells cheap go to where you know they sell them and buy the cheapest ones.

  • what windows movie maker do you have and can you use it with windows 7?

  • When im at the windows movie maker i look up in the capture video section and it doesnt say capture video, it goes strait to import video after all my cord and stuff were conected, please help me!

  • Do you have Vista?

  • I have windows & and downloaded windoes movie maker 2.6 which looks almost identicle to the movie maker use used and when i hooked up my easycap capture card it never said clack here to start capturing

  • Do you NEED to use the splitter cables? I was just wondering cause i already have a dazzle but i didnt know how to make these videos!

  • Also can you edit the pics and merge them with windows movie maker and paint?

  • I don't use a splitter cable. I have an audio video distribution unit, and it works very good. But, yes, you do need either a A/V Dist. Device. or a splitter cable.

  • O love your table with all those pretty daffodils!

  • whats the best thing to capture your gaming ?

  • @KroniicKiid

    HDPVR

i think thats what its called like $200

  • Whats the best thing around $100 Mark ?

  • IM thinkin dazzle like $70-100

  • Ok Thanks.

  • dazzle video creator plus. It's good when you have good render settings and you want to go out and buy s-video cables there not expensive and make the quality look almost HD

  • what if i have vista? windows movie maker doesn't recognize my dazzle but my computer does. and when i use the pinnacle instant dvd recorder instead it lags like crazy but my computer has great memory. is there any other recording programs or is there a way to fix the movie maker so it recognizes my dazzle?

  • And for sound Input It doesn't have Dazzle

  • IT WONT WORK FOR ME. A warning pop up keeps coming up!

  • Why does some other videos

    use double ended RCA/AV cable?

  • good vid.. just turn down the background music.. too loud and 10 mins of the same loop was driving me nuts.. haha

  • what device can I have to use it on Mac

I own a mac AND so do you know any device like Dazzle that could work in mac?

  • There's a weblink to a capture device fro Mac in the description its some where near the middle (its marked with two stars).

  • dazzle only works on widnows

  • a question about the Composite / RCA Splitter Cable 2M/1F link you have posted from amazon. the colors on the male side are white and red. that doesn't mean anything right? they'll work fine even if i plugged the yellow into the splitter right? sorry if the question is dumb, i just wanna be sure

  • No, it doesn't really matter. They'll work fine even if the yellow is plugged into the splitter thats red or white. The colors are just so used as guides to get the signals right. That's a good question actually don't be so hard on yourself. ;)

  • For making rock band videos. do you prefer splitters shown on the first half of the video or splitters shown in the diagram you put as a download. isnt it true that too many splitters can create a lag or something? sorry for the questions i just want to make sure i did it the right way.

  • nvm, i'll just do the way shown on the video

  • Both the video and the diagram will work fine. I don't know if too many will cause lag but what I do know is that not enough (the way shown in the second half of the video) can cause lag, its happened to me.

I answered your question anyway, just in case anyone else had the same question.

  • What Settings do you use on cyberlink Like The Quality Smoothness FPS And Then What Do You Use To Render? MPEG 4 MPEG2 MPEG 1 AVI DIVX? Please Reply
  • Because my computer is kinda slow i record using MPEG2 @ 30FPS and a resolution of 480. and a bit-rate of 8000kbps also i put the speed/quality at its best

    When rendering i use MPEG4 (AVC) @ 30FPS at a resolution of 720 and a bit-rate of 10,000kbps also i put the speed/quality at its best

If you have a fast computer you might want to try recording or rendering at higher bit-rates and/or resolutions

  • Great vid, I went with the Kworld recorder before I even saw your vid, but it's nice to know that I chose the right one. Well done.

  • 1. How much is a cable splitter and how much is an AV extension?

    2. Can I use Dazzle with just the one cable splitter like you did with KWorld?

  • 1. Cable splitters and Extensions shouldn't cost more than $20 all together. Cable splitters can range from $0.50 to $2.50. Cable extension should be between $3.50 to $10.

    2. Yes it should work all I did there was get creative and used on splitter so I don't have to buy extras. However, if your looking to record games like Rock Band or Guitar Hero this can be a bad idea because your computer can lag and result in undesired gameplay and bad videos.

  • Thanks! Do videos cause more lag if you are recording a game like Gran Turismo 4?

  • No, the game won't lag but if you have an old computer like i do the sound might be a little bit off. This is the lag in talking about, Sound Lag thats why its a bad idea to record Rock Band this way.

  • Thanks man.

  • ok i got the dazzle working and the problem was was i had to download a special driver for Vista anyway the windows movie maker thing u let me download didnt have capture from video divice under capture video

  • I have Windows XP, not Vista so i dont know what the vista version of Windows Movie Maker looks like. But i have looked at a few videos of the Vista version.

Under "import" there is "from video camera" click that and you should be able to capture from there.

  • thanks a lot but which program shood i use o record game demos on my PC?

  • If you dont want to use Windows Movie Maker you could get another program.

I recommend CyberLink Power Director but you could also try Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere, Pinnacle Studio. Those are some of the more popular video editing programs.

  • Debe trabajar con Vista 32-bit pero si no funcióna deberias bajar el programa.

Si lo necita digame y le envio el link.

  • plzzzz help me i just spent freaken 60 bucks on cords and its all hooked up and everything and then after it says the device is not responding close any application that is using the divice and try capturing again

and then when i push ok it says the video device cannot be used at this time because there has been an error when starting tis device

plzzz help me i dont want this money to go to waste

  • Do you use Windows or Mac??

If you have Mac, unfortunately Dazzle doesn't work with Mac. The company that makes Dazzle does make a capture device for Mac but its way more expensive. (about $100 USD)

If you use Windows what version do you have?

If you have Vista and it's the 64bit version you might have to download the driver software for it.

If you have Windows XP try installing the software again.

  • I have had trouble finding the A/V Splitters. I have found the audio splitter at Best Buy. I asked the guy if knew if they had video splitters and he said he never heard of them before. please help me out

  • Those audio splitters that you found at Best Buy should also work with video. The yellow, red and white cables are just color coded so we can get the right signals to where they should go (video signal to video input and audio signals to audio inputs).

You didn't by any chance happen to get Dynex® - RCA Y-Adapter did you?

If you did one of the Product Features says...

"[It] Sends audio or video signals through RCA jacks"

As long as you get the signals right it should work. Hope this helps.

  • Thanks so much!!! And yes the Dynex was the one I saw, so this should work perectly thanks!

  • is it true that dazzle does not work in the UK unless u spend like £200 on cables

  • It shouldn't cost so much just for the cables combined. The most expensive thing is probably just Dazzle and it shouldn't cost over £60 if your going to get Dazzle and cables.

  • hey tony this video was AWESOME!! next can u tell how to make ur BG's there so cool i want to know how u do it =D

  • yeah sure no problem =)

  • Suuubbbeeed XD

  • Lol Edward (Chilldude202) Bought Dazzle too XD

  • will it work filming nazi zombies?? how do u break up the vids quickly?? can u do it automatically??????????????????? how much is it in £££ brittish money??

  • Yes it will work filming Nazi Zombies! ;)

To "break up" simply trim them using a video editor like Windows Movie Maker. When you add your video to the timeline click the ends of the video and arrows should appear, click and drag that to make you video shorter. If you want save the hassle of doing it yourself ("... do it automatically") use an advanced video editor like what I use, CyberLink PowerDirector.

I'm not sure exactly how much Dazzle cost in pounds but it should think its about £30.

  • In total how much will it cost in US currency.

  • Its depends....

If you want something cheap you just want to get Dazzle ($50)+three cable splitters (no more than $10 for all three)+three extension cables (about $5)+to edit videos Windows Movie Maker (Free, comes in any Windows Computer) = It rounds to about $65. It can be less if you find something cheaper.

IF you want a better editing program you could try CyberLink PowerDirector ($70 to buy; free to try) and see if you like it or you could always look up a different program.

  • I have Sony vegas pro 8....so thats put of it.. but so about 65... hmmm gotta go get some money.

  • Video editors like Cyberlink PowerDirector (what is use), Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere or Pinnacle Studio; those are some of the more popular editors. I've accidentally discovered that Power Director 8 (the most recent version) can record both game and voice with out having to get anything more than a microphone; you don't even have to run extra software. PowerDirector will actually combine your game and voice audio as soon as you stop recording your game.

  • GRANDE MAESTRO

gracias por ponerle subtitulos en español!! :P!!!

  • The Pink Audio Jack (input for the microphone) is behind your computer, sometime in front. TVs don't usually have microphone inputs. With newer computers the microphone jacks are color coded pink. With older computers they are often not, so if you have a older computer and don't see a pink microphone jack on your computer, either your computer doesn't have it or its not colored and you'll have to see if it has it.

  • this works for xp too, right?

  • Yeah this works with Windows XP thats what I use. =)

  • Then i guess i'll buy it next week then. thanks for the info. :)

  • No Problem anytime! =D

  • there's a driver for vista 64-bit

  • and you'll need a video game system.....I have a wii....

Get excited man its a Wii you should have been like.

And you'll need a video game system....I HAVE A MOTHER FLIPPIN WII BABY! BOOYAH!

  • Quick question: Is there a way to record your voice as you are recording a game? Like with a microphone or something? I don't see where exactly the mic would go in this situation. An answer would be much appreciated. =)

  • Regular mic usually go in a pink audio jack the is next to a blue and green one. Other times a USB mic would also do. However the problem is getting your computer to record from two audio sources, the game and mic. Window Movie Maker cant record from both but more advanced editors often can. Another way is to record using a separate device at the same time you record games. Camcorder soften have audio recording functions. You can do that just make sure that you can pass it on to your computer.

  • I recorded it with Dazzle with WMM and the video is a little bit darker. How come its darker? Watch my video on how I hooked up. Thanks
