if u put an IG group next to a whippet group next to a greyhound group u will see the difference between the 3 breeds.So,there isn't an exact weight rule if it's not a show quality dog..I have a tiny boned IG that is 20 lbs.but he was the biggest of the litter.he isn't overweight and boy,is he fast!

The Whippet is the bigger, white one. They aren't really "big" though... They only get up to about 45 lbs (I think...). Italian Greyhounds are only about a foot to a foot and a half tall at the shoulders. They're really small dogs... but bullet fast!
IG wins cuteness anyday, i didnt know they were so much smaller than whipets untill i saw them at discover dogs at crufts yesterday!! stunning, id love to have one!

They are so gentle with each other. Unfortunately mine hates other dogs but the mouthing and nibbling thing is exactly what he does to me.
