  • like most projectiles, when pyros air blast them, they acts as if pyro was the one that fired it. while it might do no damage to the person who holds the weapon, pyro doesnt. sticky jumper does not have the same coding as regular stickies so therefore, it acts more like other projectiles

  • Thats fucking awesome. They shouldnt remove that

  • The Sticky Jumper itself grants immunity to damage from your own stickies: Pyro doesn't carry the Jumper, so no immunity to self-damage like the Demoman has.

At least, I think that's what causes it.

  • @ViralBiae No, The sticky jumper has 0 damage.

  • It still works!

  • I can only presume that once the stickies are airblasted to the other team the coding assumes they're normal stickies, so therefore they do damage.

As for why on earth they do damage to the Pyro that airblasted them...

  • @Lyinginbedmon Because they get flagged as being from the pyro. Same reason reflected rockets can damage the pyro that reflects them if they hit something close to him.

  • HOW DO YOU NERF A WEAPON THAT DOES NO DAMAGE.

  • @2upclock Well that's kinda simple, just add more downsides to it. :] like the friggn' rocketjumper D:

  • @2upclock THIS IS TF2! WE CAN FIND A WAY!

  • Server Clearing Sticky Jumper

  • Heh, what an awesome bug :P

  • huh?

  • The stickyjumper, also known as the server clearer

  • WAT

  • I really don't know...

  • H-how?

  • interesting.
