  • @MrCouturier You should look into the meaning of red-lining, and the legislation in the late 1960s and thereafter used to combat it.

    One might criticise the practice of credit default swaps, and with good reason. But what was done was to simply confer these federally enforced risks from the banks to investors. I shall let you consider who was ultimately at fault for such economic behavior.

  • @tomliordos He's pointing out the mistake on the translation for "volatility". The subs show "Volatibilidad" instead of the correct form "volatilidad". A guess on what he meant might be. ".... who's the moron that subbed this?" ... something like that.
