Did you guys hear? They are going to do a Black Manjushri Mantra retreat again for those who received the lung from HE Tsem Tulku Rinpoche by 23 to 25 June 2009.

I heard that HE Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's Lama has advocated the practice of Black Manjushri to clear obstacles. There is Chinese video presentation here....

I think more importantly such institutions will play in the preservation of Lord Buddha's teachings before it dies out completely as Lord Buddha has predicted. May TKL manifest to slow the degeneration of Lord Buddha's teachings.

Wow I cannot wait until the retreat center come up. Going to be so beautiful. Now Genting Highland is not just for gambling or stuffs to waste your time, but can also go there to do retreat and spiritual practice. I also read on tsemtulkuDOTcom they want to build the largest Lama Tsongkhapa statue in south Asia? Will bring so much benefits to people. I rejoice!

I think this dharmatalk is very inspiring, because of the direct attack of ones selfgrasping mind.

Rinpoche here uses a skillful way of combining the propagation of the correct motivation in dharmawork with the expandation of ones own thought of "how things should to be".

the retreat center does need a lot of resources and what Rinpoche is telling them is very apt and logical. Instead of telling them to raise funds and only doing that, he tells them to be harmonious in order to create the causes for the retreat center to manifest. How truthful!

it is important for everyone in the organization to be harmonious to each other and work towards the same direction. Else, whatever prayers that is done is not real. This applies also to any organization and family or group...if  they want to grow together, despite whatever any differences the people in the organization/family/group have. I read on tsemtulkuDOTcom that it's located about 45mins drive outside of KL city. It's located on 30 acres of highland, so I'm guessing the weather is going to be cool. I don't see why you can't go, but as far as I'm aware there's not a lot there at the moment! A lot of fundraising has to be done, so we should do all we can to support Kechara House. The students also need to work together in harmony to create the causes for the retreat centre to rise.

yep and it becomes another endless cycle of not being to achieve anything. Therefore, we need to push ourselves out from that mode of thinking. We can only push ourselves so far before we reach our own plateau, which is why we need a spiritual teacher to help push us out of our comfort zones and limits. neonlama[dot]com

Initially it sounds harsh that we should not listen to our families and friends , but if you think about as RInpoche said , if they could provide us with the truth then we would have been enlightened by now how true.

It dosent sound harsh, really. It is more like a wake up call to remind us that neither are our families nor friends can be right in the long run as they are limited in their experience and wisdom. It would be more wise and intelligent to follow what the Buddha or your Guru has taught than to follow a friend's advice as their advice can only lead to so far. (kecharadiscovery(dot)com)

H.E.Tsem Rinpoche took rebirth in Taipei, Taiwan where he was recognized as a Tulku at 7 months old, but his mom refused to let him go. Then taken to N.J.,USA. From Jersey, he left to California where he met his root guru H.H.Kyabje Zong Rinpoche, where Kyabje Zong Rinpoche re-recognized him again. In 1987 he left for Gaden in South,India where He was officially enthroned. In 1992,chosen by Lati Rinpoche to go to Malaysia where he went on and off to teach. He resides in Malaysia full time now.

Rinpoche i have heard likes to bless land, houses, objects with transformative dharma teachings. He feels dharma teachings is the true source of all blessings. In many of Rinpoche's videos you can watch and find techniques for various purifications. What Rinpoche always recommends is the four opponenent powers, 35 confessional buddhas sutra, prostrations and applications of the 8 verses of thought transformation for effective purification according to Sutra methods. Tantric methods would include the above and intense retreats on Yamantaka or Vajra Yogini.
