A very tragic event indeed. I was in college when this occurred. And to think, this was supposedly done by one disgruntled employee at the plant.

God Bless the doctors who tried to help the children...good Lord I want to die just listening to the parents grieving with their dead babies and children in their arms. This is so unfair. If you can't imagine a Bhopal incident happening in the US think again, it almost did. A fatal explosion occurred on Aug. 28, 2008 in Institute, WV. at the Bayer CropScience Chemical plant. This deadly explosion could have easily eclipsed Bhopal India. Bayer CropScience is the only chemical plant in the World that makes and stores enough MIC daily that can cause this kind of mass holocaust.
