Are his Assassin sprites simply his read cape slightly lifted up to cover his head? :/ I mean, artistically, this does take some work.

But imagine in real life. You're a thief, with a cape. "Yay! I'm an Assassin now. I will slightly lift this and wrap my head around it and BAM, I'm ready to silence some mothers."

Jaffar is probably the best as an assassin, even thought his growths are abyssmal. He has incredible strength that matthew and legault could never match, and his terrible growths don't really matter because he only has 2 (I think ) levels until he's maxed.

nx47 is right, it's half of your crit. The chances are halved against bosses and reduced to 0 against the dragon.

@xFlareStrikex A lot of people will tell you one or the other, not basing their argument in fact. The fact is, Matthew has more potential than the other two. If you use the Angelic Robe from Lyn's Story, The Energy Ring, and many other powerups on Matthew and have him level 20 by The Fell Contract point, he can be insane. It is as easy to get Legault to 20, and I love both characters, but Legault can't get as many boosts as Matthew. Matthew has the potential to be the best.

That's impossible. The dragon has an unstealable flame rune that nullifies criticals, including silencers.

You play too much MK404's hack, I suppose. Dragon does not have anything except his weapon.

But yes, Silencer cannot be performed on the dragon despite how high your crit is.

Oh, I thought it was in both because the Dragon pretty much nulled my crit boosts, probably his luck stat though.

IDK, the dragon has a Luck stat of 24, so KE still has base 6 critical against the dragon. But IIRC, Silencer is 0% against Dragon. Percentage chance is halved against Nergal.

It's so old they've discontinued it in Canada, but you probably might be able to get it used at a EB games. Just it came out 3 years ago so it might be hard 3-5 years ago

I've always had good luck with Silencer. I usually only use Jaffar in this game as an assassin though.

Volke in FE9/10 was probably my luckiest though. He'd walk around one-shotting dragons like it was no one's business.

I've done that to Nergal with Jaffar before. It was both awesome and annoying. Annoying because I had wanted all the people I had brought into the battle to talk with him. Awesome cause, hey, anytime you get to kill the main villain in one hit is always cool.

This isn't exactly hard to do, just make sure to have a healer handy. i usually get the OHKO on sonia after stealing the Fell Contract, although normally it takes a couple of killing edges to get it done, but at least i get to study the crit animation

The chance for an assassin to crit is half of his crit chance. So in this vid, Matthew had a 23% chance to silence Limstella.
