That punch will never land against a decent defensive fighter. It was a naked cross that didn't follow a preparatory move (feint, jab). The opponent, assisted in his own demise by moving into it. He should have been moving to his left. He is a 5' 11" heavyweight with little head movement. He will get eaten alive by any heavyweight with a jab.

The methodical "boring" plodding technique is an evolution of boxing not a devolution. The skill has been reduced to a single superior technique that is now on display by the Eastern European dominance. Helenius looks amazing as well. These guys stand up right, but keep a great distance from punishment.

Mansour looks good...Not trying to take anything away from him, but these guys hes knocking out are not moving at all or sticking any jabs...He wouldnt be free to unload on them if they would move around and stick a jab or two...Just basic boxing 101...They seem content to stand there flat footed and pose for the cameras while he knocks their lights out.
