Disney movies have literally a hundred, if not at least a thousand animators working on separate sections of the movie, so they probably have a hard time with consistency if the work is dispersed in such a broad manner.

A lot of these are on purpose because Disney felt the movies budget was too much so they cut as much out as possible when it came to drawing. They figured kids wouldnt notice these slight differences.

theirs also one in the "Kiss The Girl" song. The lyrics say "She won't say a word until you kiss the girl" however Ursula took Ariel's voice as payment, so kissing her wouldn't bring her voice back.

most of these goofs are pretty silly but a few are explainable. like when shes talking to scuttle, they don't show her for a few seconds so maybe she put the stuff up on the rock during that time and when the thimble is on seb. "legs" he could have just kicked it off when the camera switched

I couldn't really tell the trim thing at the end... but they do the hair switching thing and the cheek rub on those sides because it shows the effect better... they wanted to show the whole motion to wipe the drool from her cheek and didn't want her hair to cover her face with the angel she was going to sing towards

when Eric was getting married with disguised Ursula and Ariel swimmed and got in the boat, she was barefeet, but a little later in the scene where she regains her voice she has shoes. :P

Oh and there's another one: a scene when Ariel went to sleep and Sebastian was talking to her, she layed in the bed and fell asleep, she wasn't covered with a blanket, but after, when Sebastian put the candle out and layed in her pillow, she had a blanket.

How about this one- When Ariel rescues Eric, he's wearing his boots, but when they're lying on the beach, he's barefoot and his pants are tattered. The same thing happens after the final battle, too- when he jumps off the shipwreck, he's got boots, but when he crawls ashore- no boots, tattered pants!

A couple of these are mentioned by the directors in the commentary of the Platinum Edition DVD, but I'd never noticed most of them before! Good eye. Did you notice though, during the scene with the dinglehopper and their discussion prior to dinner, the cutlery is hopping around from shot to shot? Oh, and Scuttle has no shadow while he is on the rock! (They couldn't afford it!)

Wedding scen. Ariel gets her voice back, notice that ursulas shell breaks and Ariel doesn´t wear shoes. Eric spell breaks and she stands in high heels.

Those of you bashing the video need to calm down. Being observant and pointing out details doesn't have anything to do with not having a life - we should all go about our lives not paying attention to anything right? The reason why old movies have so many faults in animation is because every single frame was sketched, inked, and painted by hand. And with a million frames, consistency is a hard thing. Disney did a pretty good job despite not having hi-tech equipment.
