Disney movies have literally a hundred, if not at least a thousand animators working on separate sections of the movie, so they probably have a hard time with consistency if the work is dispersed in such a broad manner.

Did you notice though, during the scene with the dinglehopper and their discussion prior to dinner, the cutlery is hopping around from shot to shot? Oh, and Scuttle has no shadow while he is on the rock! (They couldn't afford it!)

Those of you bashing the video need to calm down. Being observant and pointing out details doesn't have anything to do with not having a life - we should all go about our lives not paying attention to anything right? The reason why old movies have so many faults in animation is because every single frame was sketched, inked, and painted by hand. And with a million frames, consistency is a hard thing. Disney did a pretty good job despite not having hi-tech equipment.
@Fantasygold2 Sooo true, it's what gives them character. I miss the classics, such an organic feel to it and it's REAL ART. But you know what's really sad? When new animated movies have really bad goofs; like they don't have the equipment or man power to review their work before it's finished. xDD

Wedding scen. Ariel either kept her shellbra, or she magicaly gets it back after her transformation back to mermaid, becouse she wears it after returning to the ocean. Two things I noticed during the years watching disney movies

Those of you bashing the video need to calm down. Being observant and pointing out details doesn't have anything to do with not having a life - we should all go about our lives not paying attention to anything right? The reason why old movies have so many faults in animation is because every single frame was sketched, inked, and painted by hand. And with a million frames, consistency is a hard thing. Disney did a pretty good job despite not having hi-tech equipment.

@Fantasygold2 Sooo true, it's what gives them character. I miss the classics, such an organic feel to it and it's REAL ART. But you know what's really sad? When new animated movies have really bad goofs; like they don't have the equipment or man power to review their work before it's finished. xDD

She's saying we shud enjoy this, and is explaining why Disney did good despite the small errors. And that the creator is very observant and has a small eye. I think you need to reread the comment you responded to....she doesn't hav 2 calm herself.

btw. You missed that bit at the dinner table where the napkins disappeared and reappeared. Yep that's right, this movie runs my life and has made me who I am.

Also did anyone notice that Flounder took Ariel to her grotto in the middle of Under the Sea, and Sebastian had enough time to finish the song, have a talk with the seahorse, go to the palace, have a conversation with King Triton and arrive at Ariel's grotto only seconds afterwards?
