Yue Ling, the main actress here is no longer acting. She is now living in Vancouver, Canada.

The story is about Qi Xuan who got disfigured in an accident where he was suffered burnt on his face and body. He pretend to be dead so his supposed-to-be bride, Le Mei would move on and find another man. However Le Mei was very determined and marry to his plague.

This series is one of Qiong Yao's best series and very touching. If you can find this series, buy it! No regret...

Golly! I have seen this series like 100 times but Yue Ling and the entire cast of this series never failed to make me cry. The best Taiwanese TV series of all time!!
