Those "pinch bugs" are more commonly known as squat lobsters. That species is Munida quadrispina. They are more related to hermit crabs than lobsters. Enjoy!
So I hear you complain about the propane being out. Did you see the Fed website where it says they do not service the cabin until mid may? Looks like you went to the cabin in April. Did you check with the Feds before you went out there? They would have told you they start service mid May.
@lakota2001 Actually, I did. At the time I made my reservations, there was *NO* mention of it, anywhere. After our trip, we actually got a phone call from the new head of the public use cabins in PWS, randomly calling to ask people about their experience at the cabin and he watched the video, and afterwards we talked about a few things and the notice on the website was one change the happened right away. So... yes I did check.
