  • 08:32 if you want to see it getting fired. :)

  • How often do you have to clean it? Can you use those cleaning cartridge?

  • @KloNen60 You don't need to clean airguns very often, just wipe them down to keep any sweat off them and use come Pellgun oil on the tip of each CO2. if the gun is field strippable you can take it apart once in a while and clean it but not too often and only use a very small mount of cleaner.

  • @switchingtomac Okey, sound good. Would you recomend this to me as first gun? Really like it and its in my price range.

  • @KloNen60 It's a very good shooting gun, holds well, gets good fps and lots of shots per CO2 all with blowback action too!

  • did you ever have a problem with the co2 leaking?

  • @aznboix831 Not on mine and not on the ones we have sold.

  • Do all 80 shots blowback ?

  • @JUNAID187 Yes.

  • Thank you, Michael, i think i'll buy both.)))

  • @ikarneev That's what I would do :)

  • @ikarneev That's what I would do :)

  • Is this gun better than Cybergun's analogue of 1911.

  • @ikarneev BOth are very nice in their own way, the ASG STI is a wonderful shooter with good FPS and CO2 efficiency while the Cybergun Witness is a very realistic replication of the real 1911.

  • Bought this because of your always exceptional reviews. I'm satisfied with it, however, I discovered that my Colt Defender with it's shorter barrel is more accurate. Go figure.

  • @slickslack7000 Blowback guns take a bit of practice to be more accurate with them.

  • @switchingtomac I don't think it should matter when using a rest and the same consistant sight picture. The Duty One has a lighter trigger pull since it's single-action, meaning one should be able to hold on target better, while the Colt Defender has a long double-action trigger pull. The Colt's trigger pull is predictable though. I can set it by pulling up all the slack until it's ready to fire, then squeeze one off. It's very accurate using that method.

  • @slickslack7000 See you are already more practiced with the Colt, give the Duty a bit of time and I think you will see your groups tighten up.

  • @switchingtomac Thanks for the advice.

  • if the trigger was the actually 1911 trigger i would buy it in a heartbeat

  • @ggtRiiiPpy The Cybergun Tanfoglio Witness has the true 1911 trigger, check that one out.

  • Hi. Your reviews are fantastic making it your personal discovery the reason why it's great. Hope you dont mind if I ask a question of what is your personal favorite blowback gun? What do you prefer pellets or BBs? Thanks for your time answering these questions.

  • @blurhayz I have a lot of favorite guns… Really hard to narrow it down to one… I'd have to say I like the my ASG STI Duty One for some reason a a shooter, it just shoots really nice and holds well, I do really like the realism of the Cybergun Blowback BB air guns. I like the quality of some of my German made Umarex pellet pistols. No real preference of BB's or Pellets, just depend on the gun and what it is being used for.

  • i love bb guns. i'm 16 and i never seen a live bb... i'm portuguese and i can't find those in here...do you know any shop in portugal?? thank's

  • @mainlerd Sorry, never been there?

  • @mainlerd You might want to check out this site, information galore on air guns...Clube de Tiro de Campo

  • @mainlerd same like me man

  • I have this myself, and i hate it... The trigger have gotten stuck 2 times and ive sent it in twice and i always get it back and it says no problem.

Next time ill make a video where it shows the the trigger gets stuck.

  • @muzzlepuncher7 Thanks! I'm glad you find everything informative and helpful!

  • When i bought this gun , it did not come with blowback gas , so if i dont have gas am i able to still shoot ?

  • @momstir1 hahaha blowback gas you mean CO2? no you need to load a co2 carttridge everytime

  • @mrkawi624 no dumbas you need to load CO2 after 75 shoots and a CO2 cost 1 doller ...

  • @blackopsgamer123 i know but its not called blowback gas thanks dumbass learn how to spell

  • @mrkawi624 easy for you to say ..try to speak Norwegin bitch

    øåæ

  • shot to shot? or you have to lower the hammer every time you want to shoot? sorry for the comment cause´ im Argentinian (IN SOUTH AMERICA) so i speak spanish

  • @SrNicoM Once the hammer is back the blowback will cock it act time for the next single action shot.

  • Single action or double action?

  • @SrNicoM Single Action.

  • The airsoft version of this gun has a beautiful true 1911 trigger, do you know of anyone who has changed triggers on this gun. Thanks.

  • @jmparag Don't know how you would or could change the trigger?

  • Is the outer sleeve of the barrel metal?

  • @jmparag Yes.

  • Is'nt it semi automatic?

  • @sahlertz8 Yes it is.

  • @switchingtomac Then what does "single action" mean?

  • @sahlertz8 I made a video about trigger actions, it's called:

Trigger Action Explained - SAO - DAO - Single & Double Action

  • Wow. I'm getting pretty much the same gun on amazon for about 37 dollars!

  • @BrutalLegend5 Pretty much?

  • @switchingtomac Almost the same gun. They look the same and they both take CO2 gas. The sights are removable, the cartridges go in the same spot, the magazine is exactly like yours, and it has the same tac rails.

  • @BrutalLegend5 Does it have blowback and what is it made out of?

  • @switchingtomac It has blowback and it's made mostly of plastic.

  • @BrutalLegend5 The one I sell also has blowback but has lots of metal parts including the slide. Is the one you are talking about made by ASG?

  • @switchingtomac

Hey Mike, Could You please give me an advice which pistol should I go for, The CZ 75 Duty (with blowback) or the STI like this one?

  • @ZdzisuafCiemnosci Both are really nice, the CZ is more compact, the STI is a bit better shooter.

  • 420 !!!! HAHAHAHA!!

  • really beutifall pistol i really recomend it

  • 14:05 , tomorrow you'll be mine !!! :D waiting for the ship to come ...

  • where do you buy it and how much does it cost

  • @tyler63547 There is a link to buy it in the description of the video. About $ 179

  • @tyler63547 etech.dk and cost 1300 dkk

  • I've just buyed it on the net, thx for this review :)

    Need 0,12g diam 6 mm ?

  • Please someone, how do i strip this gun ?

  • how do i strip this gun? it has nothing to do with the middle catch on the slide like most guns, any advice please thanks

  • @elly2belly I have not tried to field strip my STI, not all air guns are meant to be taken apart. Is there a reason why you need to field strip it?

  • @switchingtomac no reason realy its just nice to know your gun if you know what i mean, any helpp wud be appreciated i cant actualy see how it wud come apart

  • @perfectplane my post below tis one

  • because this was a co2 gun temperature doesn't affect it a whole lot. Green gas however is a different story .

  • @RyanIsADoucheBag CO2 is radically effected by temperature. It is just a more reactive gas then Green Gas (Propane)

  • i got colt special combat<3<3<3

  • Are the bbs metal or plastic I was wondering cause my friends have Airsoft wars and I didn't want to shoot a pellet in his arm

  • @bmx3609 4.5mm stell BB's

  • hi again

i'm in tha last part of my choice the two last one are the asg duty one blowback and the sigsauer x five

for the power i think that its the asg (seen on your video ) but what was the temparature when you test those two ?

in global quality which one do you recommande me ?

and final which one wil you advise me

    thanks

and again but like always nice review

  • @perfectplane Both are very nice, more metal on the Sig but more power and more shots with the ASG. The temperature was pretty cold when I tested both guns but I keep the CO2 and guns warm in the house then quickly bring them out to do the test so it does not effect the guns as much.

  • I got this gun out of an Evike.com box of awesome, but I have the non-blowback version, the only other difference is that it conserves CO2 and shoots at about 400 - 500 fps.

  • @mafiamanj15 I like blowback, I'm willing to give up 100 fps and a few shots for it, but that's me!

  • @switchingtomac I would have prefered the blowback version too, but I was one of the unlucky 15 people who got the least valuable gun in that mystery box, which was the non-blowback ASG STI Duty One. I was lucky because I already had CO2 from my previous CO2 gun (Full auto Taurus PT99.) So it was okay I guess, but it would have been nice to get a WE 1911.

  • @mafiamanj15 How much was the mystery box?

  • @switchingtomac The mystery box was $70, and the gun is $70 I was hoping for a better deal...

  • Did a bb fall out the back at 7:05???

  • @AuburnFootball44 I think it was some CO2 frost buildup that let go - it was a pretty cold day!

  • Ok thanks

  • So something like a gsg 92 with full auto would be better?

  • @0N1GHTH4WK No, that one actually does not have enough fps. The Drozd or EBOS would be good for small pests

  • Is this gun strong enough to be used as a small pest control gun?

  • @0N1GHTH4WK Maybe really small pest, I always prefer a pellet gun over a BB gun unless it's a full auto BB gun and teh pests don;t like standing still.

  • few question do you advise me the asg sti duty one gbb or the umarex sa 177

and do you think that it would be possible to do a chrony test of the umarex colt special combat ? I think that it should be realy cool to do a plinking test on some models like on glass or stuff like that in slow motion because i watch the steel storm review and the slow mo part when you shoot on cans was just awesommmme ,i realy love it

    thanks

  • @perfectplane I did do a Chronograph test at around 8:40 in my Colt Special Combat video review. 5 shot average fps of 387.

  • Trigger pull seems terrible, looks like you really had to force the trigger all the way to touching the frame before it would cycle...

  • @deadlyblender I didn't find it too bad, maybe a bit long but not to heavy!

  • @switchingtomac how many shots per cartridge?

  • @jjnonkey This one got a lot, I think it was 4 magazines or around 80 shots?

  • Can i use Plastic BBs for this gun? plz reply

  • @TheZogress No, this gun shoots 4.5mm BB's not 6mm BB's.

  • @switchingtomac Can i use Plastic on the non blowback version?

  • @TheZogress If the gun is an Airsoft gun you use 6mm plastic Airsoft BB's, if it is not an Airsoft BB gun then you use 4.5mm Steel BB's. You can not mix and match.

  • Is this gun a great sidearm?? Cuz i just bought a Airsoft Sniper Rifle and i need a great sidearm when im using my Sniper Rifle, so plz answer is this a great sidearm, or would you prefer another sidearm? plz reply

  • @TheZogress This is a great "Airgun" it is not an Airsoft gun that can be used in Airsoft battles as it shoots 4.5mm metal BB's

  • @switchingtomac ok... but i have one more question: how many Airguns and Airsoft Guns do you have?

  • @TheZogress You can see my list here: replicaairguns(dot)com/about-me/

  • Chrony = drop drop drop drop drop rise drop drop

  • @45jamesryan45 Mostly drops is usual.

  • I really like your reviews, they have helped me choose a couple of my airguns. I got my Duty one today, and have tested it out for about an hour today. I'm really struggling with the accuracy! I have adjusted the rear sight as much as possible, but I'm still way too low. It may be down to me beeing unfamiliar with blow back guns. I have also bought the Dan Wesson 8" and the crosman 357 and they are both a lot more accurate. Do you know of a laser sight you would reccomend for it?

  • @pissn Answering my self here, for others to see: I fixed this by adjusting the sight even a little bit higher, and touching up the front sight and the rear sight with some white hobby paint I found lying around! Now it's a lot better for me to hit my targets. It takes a bit of practice to get used to the blow back! It's really quite feisty the 4-5 first shots on a new cartridge!

  • @pissn With some guns you just have to set your aim point a little bit up or down. Most of the laser sights all work pretty much the same. They can be a little tough to sight in though.

  • @switchingtomac Thanks! I fixed it with some white paint to the sights, and adjusting the rear sight a little higher than I first thought possible:) Now I can hit pretty decent from 10 metres:) Since this is my first auto loader BB, I experienced that BBs are prone to ricochet If you're not careful with the choice of background. We shot towards some cans set up on wooden floor. The BB ricocheted of the floor, the wall and hit my girlfrend just below the eye. Learned my lesson. Shoot safe guys!

  • @pissn Glad to hear it's all sorted out and that your GF did not have any serious injury! Same thing happened to me the one time I decided not to wear glasses and I got it just under the eye too, another couple mm and it would have been pirate time for me.

  • very pro review, i enjoyed it and got alot of useful info. thanks!

  • @glitchTF Thanks!

  • how much in dollars?

  • @nicratos Canadian and US are about the same right now. This one is $179

  • I like many things about this airsoft, but i would loved if they had the original trigger.

  • @TheXxzealotxX Yes it would be nice to have the real 1911 single action trigger! This is not a 6mm Airsoft gun but rather a 4.5mm steel BB gun.

  • I can see a small map of Texas on this pistol, does anyone noticed that?

  • is this good for practise shooting? I live in Sweden and you in canada so no orange tip for us :)

  • @TheXxzealotxX Very good for practicing, No orange tip in Canada too.

  • Looks like a kimber 1911

  • Wheres the best place to buy these blow back bb guns as I live in florida, amazing vid man

  • @Negroprime12 Thanks! I'm not sure who has them in the US? I ship to the US from Canada, you can get them from my web-store at ReplicaAirguns(dot)com

  • @Negroprime12 In USA they have an orange plastic thing on the top of the gun. It wont look cool as in this video im afraid.

  • that colt special combat is so cool!

  • @zuperzeldanerd It's great looking and a great shooter too!

  • How much?

  • @xFATALITYx2 $179 Canadian.

  • and what about the sig saur and the gsg 92 what has good kick and power

  • @pbcarnage About the same as the Witness - very similar guns.

  • sorry for the all of the comments i keep posting but what do you like more and why this or the tanfoglio 1911

  • @pbcarnage This one is good if you are looking for more power, accuracy and CO2 efficiency. The Tanfoglio is more realistic and has more metal in it.

  • I had the Umarex A1 colt 1911.. Worst airgun I have ever owned.. Especially the trigger and the grip-safty was unreliable and bad. Returned it after 7days.. My umarex walther cp88 was reliable and well designed..

  • @vectraB97 Maybe you got a lemon, mine is great! I idid a full review on it.

  • @switchingtomac the trigger was uncomfortable, (sharp edged, hard and not smooth, the grip safety got larger and larger gaps into the gun... Also the slide had to much wear after only one weak, and the blueing got ugly really fast.. My cp88 competition with stainless steel was like new 4year after I bought it.. It was better than new when I sold it... The trigger was really nice after that many shots.. The colt umarex design get 2/6 in my book... I also returned a S&W umarex..

  • @vectraB97 Thanks for the info, interesting you found both of these very similarly designed German made Umarex guns so different in terms of build quality?

  • Hi um if someone wins the 100th video contest, Can they substitute it for this gun? Its only $10 more??? just curious

  • @SOSODEAF5 The contests is just for the Tanfoglio Witness 1911.

  • @switchingtomac oh ok, thats fine. I entered the contest btw. LOVE YOUR WEBSITE NICE ;D

  • Hey i was wondering if you did a chrony test on this gun? and if it was you would you choose this gun or the umarex sa177?

  • @jonrod94 Chrony test at 6:30, guess you didn't watch it all? The SA177 is a less expensive gun but very good for the money, if money was no object I would get the STI. It just shoots better.

  • nice review! i have buyed one today :D and its freaking awsome! i love the blowback thingy:3 i love the hole gun.

  • how many shots can u shoot with 1 co2?

  • @perzillo About 100 if you slow down your rate of fire a bit.

  • ok ty

  • can i buy the non blowback version and it will be still as good as this one? :D

  • @misperlen I don't sell it or own one in non blowback but I would imagine it would be similar in quality. It should shoot a bit harder and maybe get more shots per co2 but the blowback version is good all around anyways.

  • thanks i will buy it soon i think :D

  • cartridge* for the last time now

  • cartrigde*

  • so if i buy this gun its just to put the co2 catrige in and bbs in mag and then i am ready to shoot and when i am finish with shooting do i then need to take co2 catrige out of the pistol? just plz tell me if theres anything i need to do so the gun dont break or the co2 dont flow out

  • @misperlen All this gun needs is BB's and CO2, it is always best to use the CO2 up and remove it when you are done. If you do leave i in the gun try not to do so very often and for a long time.

  • is that good?

  • @misperlen As long as ASG monitors the quality control - sure.

  • where is it made??? U.S.A , taiwan or china

  • @misperlen Made in Taiwan.

  • SA stands for Single Action - usually the action of the gun cocks the firing mechanism but sometime like with old west revolvers you need to manually cock the hammer before you can shoot. DA stands for Double Action which means when you pull the trigger with your finger you cock the firing mechanism before the hammer is released. DAO means the gun can on shoot in Double Action and does not have Single Action ability as some guns can do both.

  • what´s the different between SA and DA or DAO??? And which is better?

  • Could you do a revew of the new m92fs by umarex please ?

  • @JUNAID187 If I can get my hands on one I would love to review it. It's not in my inventory right now...

  • can you pleas test the weirauch hw 40 because i very trust you and your test and you made very nice videos thx

  • @xXDeathAdderXx1 I don't have that one at the moment but if I get it down the road I will most likely review it

  • @switchingtomac wow thank you you are very cool and thanx for getting hw 40 and the cp 88 as i tel you its cool^^

  • THANK YOU!!! I've been wanting a blowback 1911 style bb gun for awhile, so props for the heads up.

  • Michael! I was in Vancouver this weekend, and I went into Camouflage (the store with ALL the airguns... Its insane...). I held all the guns and tested them out that you review. It was amazing and while I was on the main land (I am from Victoria, Vancouver Island) I even said to myself: It would be sick to head over to the headquarters on SwitchingToMac and seeing all the guns and Mike. I didn't though :P

  • @MacWarMedia I haven't even been i that store ;) At least you had a good time!

  • @switchingtomac You really should! its amazing. Ever blank gun, every BB gun, every airsoft... Its amazing.

  • @MacWarMedia I've been there too. Got myself the Umarex 177. from that store, it's best airugn store here in B.C. :P

  • Such a pretty gun! But that trigger looks so bad :(

  • @Xithz Maybe you will like the Cybergun Witness 1911 more as it has a 1911 style trigger? I will have them soon at the Replica Airguns Store!

  • Just wanted to say, that I always enjoy watching your reviews. They're really good, honest and professional. Great work, keep it up! :)

  • @RoGaLMiG29 Thanks!

  • asg roks! only i didn't known ar they is in my local stor, thet stayr m ar polymer aniway! i allwaus like a luks of thet stayr! and thet 911 ar almoste dream foor the replicas fans!

  • 5:28 thats what she said.

  • Very cool! :)

  • I'm not impressed

  • Very nice, like the metal parts used in it, shoots really well. Thanks for the excellent review. The Colt is very attractive. Take care and have a great day.
