  • I looooove garlic bread. I guarooonteee!!!

  • This recipe is the one I use to make Garlic Bread. I found it works great on leftover bread loaves from Jimmy Johns! And I use this recipe as a base for my Crabby Bread recipe!

  • i remeber when i was a wee lad I use to watch this with my dad and giggle at how he would say awnyon :P ahh i miss these shows

thanks for the upload and cheers from canada

  • garlic presses suck…shouldn't be usin a garlic press on a cooking show

  • How y'all are some more I garuntee!

  • I'm from North Carolina and we have our own type of southern accent. I love the Louisiana bayou accent so much though.

  • What idiot dislikes Justin Wilson??

  • @mynameismeowth:THANK YOU!!!!

  • I want Garlic Bread now.........Thanks Justin! We miss you!

  • truly a great ambassador for the state of louisiana.we miss you justin.R.I.P.

  • I know he was born and raised in LA, but Justin himself described himself as half-cajun....Hence why I posted what I did..... I get sick and tired of all these people calling Justin a fake.... I will take him over Emeril or even Paul Prudhomme any day.

  • My mother turned me on to Justin when I was a kid, and we would watch him on PBS every week. I always treasure him.

  • love you justin thank you for teaching how to make gumbo one of my best

eats still watching you '' may you ( RIP ) wish you where here PBS is not the same without you ''

  • Who's Dat gonna talk bad bout Mister Wilson.....I gots a story to told ya'll, dem Gators......come on down go swimmin wit us in da Bayou....

  • i grew up watching justin wilson. he was simply incredible.

  • the first chef I ever really paid attention to - he made it look like so much fun. and it is. and it's gooood I Guarantee :)

  • mmmm now I'm hungry :)

  • this should be one the food network instead of Rachael ray

  • Spent a lot of rainy Saturday morning watching Mr. Wilson. Always enjoyed watching him. Cooking shows have gone to hell in the last few years. thanks food network for doing that .

  • we watched Justin Wilson years ago and enjoyed watching for sure

  • its the angle of the camera, notice his watch

  • When the do a camera shot from above he is stirring with his left hand but when they go back to in front he is stirring with his right hand.

  • @Autobotsdie Because they use a mirror !

  • @Autobotsdie Because this show was filmed in front of an audience, there was a mirror overhead so the audience could see what he was doing on the table. If they did the same show today, there'd be an overhead camera set up and people would watch the table action on a monitor. The floor cameras had to shoot in the mirror to film what he was doing on the table and that's why everything is backwards.

  • Justin's like some cool 'ol uncle I never had. Great guy. Really entertaining.

  • It sounds like he stepped on a duck when he uses the garlic press. :)

  • " I be glad when I get this did"! Love Justin....I remember my Mother watching him when I was younger!

  • im not from the south. but i suree. love that accent!!! =]

  • If you come here to talk crap take it somewhere else, southerners are plenty smart, so share with us where your from. Justin speaks broken French, Cajun dialect mixed with English. Oh yea while I'm on the subject, 4 out of 5 of my kids will finish college and some with 4.0. Touchee!

  • @Saskinny I know this comment was posted a year ago, but seriously grow up. He wasn't a "Fake" . Justin E. Wilson (April 24, 1914 - September 5, 2001) Wilson was born in Roseland in Tangipahoa Parish, one of the "Florida Parishes" of Louisiana. Consider yourself taught. If you don't like the Cajun accent then I suggest you not watch his videos and not visit Louisiana or even to my mother's house. Mom and Dad, especially Dad talk like Justin.

  • My friend, I am not a native of Louisiana but I had the pleasure of living there for a few years and I can honestly say those were the best years of my life and Cajuns are the best damn people you will meet anywhere. I hope to return one day, but this time to stay.

  • Enjoy yourself!

  • @BigCookinCajun

I'm not from the South but my father and all before him are and I'm sick and tired of this stereotype that southerners are stupid and racist. We all have higher education degrees. Thank you for saying this!

  • Can anyone give me an idea what year this was from roughly. I am guessing the late 70's?

  • mid 80s, i grew up wtahcing him with my grandpa

  • Ah, the days when it was OK to use 2 whole sticks of butter in one dish.

  • Oh the days. I swear you dont even hear words like that anymore. It feels good just to think about it.

  • is that much he used? I wanna make some of this stuff

  • How y'all are?

  • for those of you who say he is fake, you guys are losers, he is cajun.

  • I GARUNTEEEEEEEEEEE

  • I'm glad for you to see me!

    I gauruntee!

  • anyone know what happened to his left eye? looks like a car accident.

  • This guy is awesome.

  • I frickin love the dutch oven show

  • link?

  • I cant find any videos of it on the tube.

  • He is great and PBS also had a great show about outdoor dutchoven cooking.

  • youre right about that food network DOES suck, i mean how many italians does it take to make speghetti? wheres the greeks? maybe someone should make Food classic network

  • Justin be making me hungry!!!!

  • first off, justin wilson is not from new orleans. secondly, new orleans people are not cajun...at all. actually hes from around baton rouge, which aint cajun either.

  • hey, spoilsport. Don't you think logic dictates there are at least a few cajuns in NO and Baton Rouge. Quit ruining peoples fun.

  • I'm from about 30 minutes outside of Baton Rouge and I promise you I'm cajun, nice call though.

  • he was half cajun... screw all you people who say he is a fake

  • @Garr1984 he was born and raised in louisiana
