dude can u send me a msg tellin hw to get the whole game on 3 screens da way u hav done it plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz i beg u and it will be really nice if u do tell me.
@MrShev001 I did it using a matrox triplehead2go converter, this information is in the video and in the description, it makes the pc believe it is one huge monitor and splits the video signal into 3 different signals. there is a vga and a dvi version
This would be sick. Currently I'm just running two separate computers on two monitors with one keyboard and mouse using Synergy+. Triple monitor would be cooler. haha
how would i connect three monitors to my gigabyte radeon 5670 graphics card??? i have it crossfired.. can anyone tell me what monitors would be best and how would i hook them up???
WOW! FOV (Field Of View) is strecthed as hell. Man I would love to try it, but it gets a little bit annoying with that stretched FOV when you have played for a while.
Although it would have been way much cooler if u had 9 monitors. WOAW! =D=D
Look like the center screen is 5:4 and the two other are 4:3. It dont talk about the focus difference. But physicaly, the screen in the middle looks more square than the other. Anyway, nobody care about.
Its fine with 3 screens i use 3, 22" screens SOFTTH with 2 graphics cards to get the 4 outputs the bezels dont matter that much as the side screens are in periferal visoin you dont realy look at them but thay add to the immersion.
now that is fkn sick i just bought myself 2 monitors...setting up dual monitors is piss easy but i want to learn how to setup "twin view" so i can share the monitors view like this person has.
i herd u can get the same res but with out the try head to go (not running sli but having 2 cards) i just got my 3x22" samsung lcds and want to try them out in cod4 (i will be buying the TH2G digital soon)till then do you no of a way to get cod4 on 3 lcds?? thanks m8 4 taking the time to read this =D
Me too, I guess you could take the monitors apart and make them flush against each other and build another housing out of the old ones but yeah...you are right, they are annoying.
1. notebook HP Pavillion 6715ew - 2x1,66 , 2GB RAM, GeForce 8400GS, 160 GB, Vista, newest drivers - with default screen resolution for notebook it runs at medium
2. Intel Core 2 quad 4x2,66 MHz , 4 GB RAM (Patriot), GeForce GTX260(Asus), mainboard Asus Striker II Extreme, 1 TB Hard drive, XP Pro, newest drivers - 1920x1200 (24 inch Samsung T240HD) - all max graphic settings it's not a problem, even fans don't fasten
They should make a 'super-windscreen' with a 'human sight like' screen, like curved like half of a football so the sides would be very wide around you, and the top also a little wide just to cover the view.
well but then again it would actually be better to make glasses directly to your eyes.
With the matrox triple head2go can you have it set as 3 different monitors as well so i could have a full screen game sony vegas and msn all separate? thanks :)
No thats not possible. What the Triplehead does is inputs your "main monitor" (middle one) and outputs to 2 outer monitors making it a wide screen. All it is, is a splitter.
Not a problem, But you can still stretch all three windows over the 3 monitors. Its a nifty little bit of gadgetry for gamers... Because you get a advantage most people don't as you get more of a wider viewing angle *winks*
Nah, crosshairs wont be a problem. because if they go off the middle screen to the outer ones. That means the people with single monitors would lose there crosshairs when turning etc... Which game producers dont like.
wat is like the requirements, like the lowest u can play this game. cause i dont exactly have alot of money on me to upgrade my cp so i dont no wat the lowest requirements are
Yes. However, there is something important you must know.
That CPU is exessively powerful, and that videocard is meh at best. It would offer more performance in games to get a weaker CPU and stronger GPU. This game is mainly GPU intensive and Rambo tactics get you killed fast, even on easy. You're prolly not gonna need such a powerful CPU...
Oh, and that's going to be a heavy *** laptop with low battery life and high heat... Just a heads up.
TrueAce. Just to clarify that what you said about a computer needing low CPU but GPU to run that happily is a croque of shit. You need a high CPU clock speed to gain better FPS from GFX card as to prevent bottlenecking.
Your CPU renders the images your GFX creates. Tus, a low Clock Speed = Lower FPS.
f-ing crazy is the only way to describe this set up! Tell me how you hooked up three I have too and a i have an s cable jack but like no monitor has an s cable jack
I'm using VGA. Card has 1 VGA, from there signals go to the matrox triplehead2Go where they are split into 3 separate lines. Windows thinks the matrox is the monitor, it doesn't even "know" there are 3 monitors.
So this isn't a video of a Crysis demo, but actual real-time game rendering. Are you running two cards or three, and are they Geforce 8800's? I want to run Crysis on three monitors, and wanna know what type of setup can handle such a, er, crysis.
Er, what's the difference between a Crysis demo and an "actual real-time game rendering" ?? Also the information on the setup is in the info on the right and at the end of the video.
FPS is not overwhelming or rather slightly above minimum but I didn't notice until I actually measured.
Some dicks on youtube resort to faking their vids. IE- by filming video of a game to convey performance, rather than the actual game. You're the real deal. Also was too lazy to have watched the vid right through. I think I'll SLI another two 8800's and run three of the things for tripple monitor gaming.
Y2Krashman - you cant SLI and have multi monitors plugged into yourcards. If you really want SLI, then you will need Triplehead2go or a K switch. At present there is no SLi support for multi monitors, although Nvidia havent ruled this out for the future.
19" inch screens have come down quiet a bit in the past and prices keep dropping. The thing that hurt was the matrox triplehead2Go, because that little black box costs $300+.
Also, I didn't get this setup to do this video, many people have 2 screens today and I just got annoyed staring at the bezel between the screens when playing games, so I got a third one. CPU and GeForce are less than extraordinary, they are rather outdated in the mean time.
I agree. I had a dual display for editing media etc. I didn't even bother seeing how a 3d shooter would run on it because I knew that gap between the screens would have me climbing the walls in under a minute.
im sure it was annoying, i was thinking that i could remove the outer casing of the 2 monitors and place the lcd pannels side by side so there would be no gap. do you think that would work?
I wouldn't go there ... but when i see all this triple monitor situations ... dude, I want to het a third screen too ... I have two Samsung 2032BW's, but yours are not widescreen monitors, would 3 widescreen monitors not make it all too wide?
I game on 2, 22" widescreen, and it works just fine. all I do is run in a window at 2880x900, instead of 3360x1050, and that offsets the center to the point where i dont even notice the bar, oh and them being a 16:10 ratio makes it add up to the same FOV as having 3, 4:3 ratio monitors :)
Hi i just have a small question, this one comes with one graphic cable . Is that correct or how does it work. Because i dont wanna buy another graphic card then the one that i have.
You can attach 2 monitors to almost any video card without any hassle, but not 3.
I'm using the triplehead2go adapter from matrox. Try googling, there is a lot of information on this box (which doesn't come cheap unfortunately). It actually makes XP believe there is only one monitor (the th2go adapter), but to the adapter are the 3 monitors attached by standard VGA cable. There is also a software solution but I never tried that and I'm sure it has its limitations.
As I mentioned in the description text, this video is not a "proof" it can be done, many people with triplehead play the demo. It's a showcase, an eye-candy for all you ppl out there with single display.
In the advanced graphic settings, I set every at medium, that's it. No tweaks, no nothing. A good game as it is, it didn't require hacks to fix the FOV or aspect ratio

I was simplifying it for the nub with a 4ghz CPU and 8600gt. Save some money on the CPU if you're on a budget and instead use it on a better GPU.
To visualize in an extreme example: A $1000 quad core with cheap integrated graphics will suck for gaming. Spend less on the CPU and more on the GPU.
