  • How big are those moniters?

  • does the doublehead2go support 3 monitors? or do you need the triplehead?

  • @DTNSS1 dvi = digital vga = analoog in the end they do the same thing

  • eyefinity ftw no need to buy extra gpu or that matrox thing

my HD5850 supports up to 3 monitors :D

  • so slow

  • Look at my profile I maxed Crysis in dx9 with a 4870 and no $500 adapter. :)

  • dude can u send me a msg tellin hw to get the whole game on 3 screens da way u hav done it plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz i beg u and it will be really nice if u do tell me.

  • @MrShev001 I did it using a matrox triplehead2go converter, this information is in the video and in the description, it makes the pc believe it is one huge monitor and splits the video signal into 3 different signals. there is a vga and a dvi version

  • @MrShev001 if you get a new 5000 ATI card you can use all 3 monitors as one without extra hardware

  • This would be sick. Currently I'm just running two separate computers on two monitors with one keyboard and mouse using Synergy+. Triple monitor would be cooler. haha

  • how would i connect three monitors to my gigabyte radeon 5670 graphics card??? i have it crossfired.. can anyone tell me what monitors would be best and how would i hook them up???

  • i wish my pc could run crysis on a single 3 inch screen

  • WOW! FOV (Field Of View) is strecthed as hell. Man I would love to try it, but it gets a little bit annoying with that stretched FOV when you have played for a while.

Although it would have been way much cooler if u had 9 monitors. WOAW! =D=D

  • that was the best 2 years ago!!!

  • Dont worry crysis 2 comes out soon and the graphics are intended to be photo realistic with a nice computer.

  • i want a good pc so bad, but im gonna wait to see want nvidia has in store first

  • How can I connect 3 screens as you do. How to get good image so it fit together?

  • i have this pc but when i turn ot on all i get is a black screen, if anyone has a simple fix reply or throw it in my inbox. i need to fix it somehow

  • this is from 2007 btw...

  • can you actually see more to the sides or is it just stretched, i cant really tell

  • you can see more and sgames the support more monitors

  • thats the suckiest piece of shit PC ive heard of

  • That PC is trash sir. Stop talking like you know alot about computers. kthnx bye.

  • This is just a video put over three blank monitors.... look at the edges of the monitors.... you could have done a better masking job. =/

  • Look like the center screen is 5:4 and the two other are 4:3. It dont talk about the focus difference. But physicaly, the screen in the middle looks more square than the other. Anyway, nobody care about.

  • I cant wait to get this going with my gtx 295 sli : D surround gaming all the way

  • did you buy a creative x-fi sound card? if your using integrated sound its like useless surround but if u got x-fi its awesome

  • i have a 5.1 surround system and my motherboard came with a separate sound module that supports 5.1, its sounding pretty sweet.

  • Its fine with 3 screens i use 3, 22" screens SOFTTH with 2 graphics cards to get the 4 outputs the bezels dont matter that much as the side screens are in periferal visoin you dont realy look at them but thay add to the immersion.

  • what fps u think i could get with a gtx 280?

  • Anyone who knows anything knows not to get a bunch of little monitors, but one BIG monitor and split frame render it

  • how would you do that?

  • wow

  • now that is fkn sick i just bought myself 2 monitors...setting up dual monitors is piss easy but i want to learn how to setup "twin view" so i can share the monitors view like this person has.

  • i herd u can get the same res but with out the try head to go (not running sli but having 2 cards) i just got my 3x22" samsung lcds and want to try them out in cod4 (i will be buying the TH2G digital soon)till then do you no of a way to get cod4 on 3 lcds?? thanks m8 4 taking the time to read this =D

  • those spaces between monitors annoy me

  • Me too, I guess you could take the monitors apart and make them flush against each other and build another housing out of the old ones but yeah...you are right, they are annoying.

  • it depends, after some time, you don't see (eg notice) them anymore.

More state of the art LCDs have smaller bezels then mine

  • you CAN make the edges overlap eachother, so the edges only equals that of one screen

  • @meatwad8800 he should get Borderless ones xD

  • COOL !!! oh and btw lcd would be beter ;)

  • errrr what? whatchya think is this.... plasma?

  • lol

  • its look like you drive a airplane lol

  • For all questions about requirements:

    1. notebook HP Pavillion 6715ew - 2x1,66 , 2GB RAM, GeForce 8400GS, 160 GB, Vista, newest drivers - with default screen resolution for notebook it runs at medium

    2. Intel Core 2 quad 4x2,66 MHz , 4 GB RAM (Patriot), GeForce GTX260(Asus), mainboard Asus Striker II Extreme, 1 TB Hard drive, XP Pro, newest drivers - 1920x1200 (24 inch Samsung T240HD) - all max graphic settings it's not a problem, even fans don't fasten

  • those arnt exactly the requirements. crysis recomend for CPU is only 2.2ghz. but yes everything else is

  • Yeah and rig you chair so it spins on command.

ya know I might just do that

  • I know I know they do have 'Super Widescreens for computing but still it's not like human sight or something xD...

and I meant Widescreens*** for the last comment as well.

  • Well human sight would be like 9 across and 10 down and sit like 1 foot away from the sreens that would be GREAT

  • They should make a 'super-windscreen' with a 'human sight like' screen, like curved like half of a football so the sides would be very wide around you, and the top also a little wide just to cover the view.

well but then again it would actually be better to make glasses directly to your eyes.

  • LMAO!!!

  • its anoying to see the screen sides in the view :p but cool

  • With the matrox triple head2go can you have it set as 3 different monitors as well so i could have a full screen game sony vegas and msn all separate? thanks :)

  • No thats not possible. What the Triplehead does is inputs your "main monitor" (middle one) and outputs to 2 outer monitors making it a wide screen. All it is, is a splitter.

  • Thats what i thought but people were confusing me about what it did

    thanks :)

  • Not a problem, But you can still stretch all three windows over the 3 monitors. Its a nifty little bit of gadgetry for gamers... Because you get a advantage most people don't as you get more of a wider viewing angle *winks*

  • ok thanks it does look cool as well though aslong as gun cross hairs arnt in the middle of two of the screens

  • Nah, crosshairs wont be a problem. because if they go off the middle screen to the outer ones. That means the people with single monitors would lose there crosshairs when turning etc... Which game producers dont like.

  • ok thanks :) i hope i can afford something like this

  • nice dude

  • rofl

  • lol

  • the blind spots caused by the edges of the screens would do my head in. Nice though

  • there are no blind spots because of edges, you see everything (no enemy could hide :) )

  • there are blind spots but you would have the same spots missing on a regular screen only with this you can see 200% more then usual

  • wat is like the requirements, like the lowest u can play this game. cause i dont exactly have alot of money on me to upgrade my cp so i dont no wat the lowest requirements are

  • It's probably not for you then. You need three monitors and the TripleHead2Go box ($300)

Thanks a ton TC, I can't wait to pick one of these up and play me some vids!

  • ok im making a dell XPS 1530. would these specs work?

    1.intel core 2 duo processor t8300 4ghz/800mhz

    2.windows vista

    3. a screen that is 15.47 in (1440x900)

    4. 4GB shared dual channel for memory

    5. hard drive: 250 gb 5400rpm

    6. video card: 256MB NIVIDIA Geforce 8600m

yea thats basically wat the comp is gonna be do u think crysis can be run on this?

  • vista what? 32 or 64?

  • 64. yea i just got my laptop. i can run it now. it can run on high and very high with little lags

  • Yes. However, there is something important you must know.

That CPU is exessively powerful, and that videocard is meh at best. It would offer more performance in games to get a weaker CPU and stronger GPU. This game is mainly GPU intensive and Rambo tactics get you killed fast, even on easy. You're prolly not gonna need such a powerful CPU...

Oh, and that's going to be a heavy *** laptop with low battery life and high heat... Just a heads up.

  • TrueAce. Just to clarify that what you said about a computer needing low CPU but GPU to run that happily is a croque of shit. You need a high CPU clock speed to gain better FPS from GFX card as to prevent bottlenecking.

Your CPU renders the images your GFX creates. Tus, a low Clock Speed = Lower FPS.

  • I was simplifying it for the nub with a 4ghz CPU and 8600gt. Save some money on the CPU if you're on a budget and instead use it on a better GPU.

To visualize in an extreme example: A $1000 quad core with cheap integrated graphics will suck for gaming. Spend less on the CPU and more on the GPU.

  • more video memory?

  • u may notice he has the optimous maximous keyboard which will run you about $1500 no not a mis type $1500

  • err yeah sure who pays 1500 for a keyoard there all the same lol

  • hahaha, Optimus maximus ... this is in fact a Logitech Ultra-Slim keyboard for about $30.

  • was that lag or like slow motionj :S ?

  • i think i would still rather play it on the imax theatre... ;)

  • f-ing crazy is the only way to describe this set up! Tell me how you hooked up three I have too and a i have an s cable jack but like no monitor has an s cable jack

  • did u even watch it? he said matrox triplehead2go

  • i've been looking at triplehead2go as well

i'm wondering whether it only works for in game or whether it takes care of regular windows applications as well? and how much did triplehead2go cost?

  • what OS are you running?

  • is that a game or a movie??!! jokz, nice pc :D

  • You need a k switch.

it makes with an 1 slot vid card a 3 slot

  • k switch? No need for that, I'm using a matrox triplehead2Go.

  • one question. how did you get a third moniter? doesnt the vid card only have 2 DVIs?

  • I'm using VGA. Card has 1 VGA, from there signals go to the matrox triplehead2Go where they are split into 3 separate lines. Windows thinks the matrox is the monitor, it doesn't even "know" there are 3 monitors.

Matrox PowerDesk software helps manage window sizes.

  • WOW. Double 8800gt or 9600gt!?

  • no just 1 8800 gt

  • So this isn't a video of a Crysis demo, but actual real-time game rendering. Are you running two cards or three, and are they Geforce 8800's? I want to run Crysis on three monitors, and wanna know what type of setup can handle such a, er, crysis.

  • Er, what's the difference between a Crysis demo and an "actual real-time game rendering" ?? Also the information on the setup is in the info on the right and at the end of the video.

FPS is not overwhelming or rather slightly above minimum but I didn't notice until I actually measured.

  • Some dicks on youtube resort to faking their vids. IE- by filming video of a game to convey performance, rather than the actual game. You're the real deal. Also was too lazy to have watched the vid right through. I think I'll SLI another two 8800's and run three of the things for tripple monitor gaming.

  • Y2Krashman - you cant SLI and have multi monitors plugged into yourcards. If you really want SLI, then you will need Triplehead2go or a K switch. At present there is no SLi support for multi monitors, although Nvidia havent ruled this out for the future.

  • HOLY HELL! how much did that setup set you back?

  • 19" inch screens have come down quiet a bit in the past and prices keep dropping. The thing that hurt was the matrox triplehead2Go, because that little black box costs $300+.

Also, I didn't get this setup to do this video, many people have 2 screens today and I just got annoyed staring at the bezel between the screens when playing games, so I got a third one. CPU and GeForce are less than extraordinary, they are rather outdated in the mean time.

  • As awesome as that is I don't think I could ever get used to that.

  • YOU LUCKY BASTARD!

  • Awesome...I love your setup....

  • you are so dam wrong..

  • I agree. I had a dual display for editing media etc. I didn't even bother seeing how a 3d shooter would run on it because I knew that gap between the screens would have me climbing the walls in under a minute.

  • Average FPS?

  • orgasmic

  • u know wat will be awsome if someone posts somethin with 3 30inch monitors

  • Shiiit.. I want to see three 56" hdtv's at once.

  • you've taken that too far.

  • no he hasn't! oh yeah and i've taken ya mum too far

  • ha ha can you even do that? probably, i like your thinking.

  • i really want to do this with 2 monitors but the crosshair would be in the middle and would be ruined by the gap in the middle.

  • yeah, I had only 2 monitors first, this was the most annoying thing

also always looking at the gap, like a vertical bar in front of you

  • im sure it was annoying, i was thinking that i could remove the outer casing of the 2 monitors and place the lcd pannels side by side so there would be no gap. do you think that would work?

  • I wouldn't go there ... but when i see all this triple monitor situations ... dude, I want to het a third screen too ... I have two Samsung 2032BW's, but yours are not widescreen monitors, would 3 widescreen monitors not make it all too wide?

  • I'd put those in a portrait setup then though, i already find my regular screens go pretty wide in 3-span :)

  • I game on 2, 22" widescreen, and it works just fine. all I do is run in a window at 2880x900, instead of 3360x1050, and that offsets the center to the point where i dont even notice the bar, oh and them being a 16:10 ratio makes it add up to the same FOV as having 3, 4:3 ratio monitors :)

  • Hi i just have a small question, this one comes with one graphic cable . Is that correct or how does it work. Because i dont wanna buy another graphic card then the one that i have.

  • You can attach 2 monitors to almost any video card without any hassle, but not 3.

I'm using the triplehead2go adapter from matrox. Try googling, there is a lot of information on this box (which doesn't come cheap unfortunately). It actually makes XP believe there is only one monitor (the th2go adapter), but to the adapter are the 3 monitors attached by standard VGA cable. There is also a software solution but I never tried that and I'm sure it has its limitations.

  • What ppl not get is that u get extra fov(field of view) that u wouldn't get with an 30 inch screen.

  • cost of one screen?

  • you should just buy one big 30 inch screen that can do 2500x1600 will be better

  • As I mentioned in the description text, this video is not a "proof" it can be done, many people with triplehead play the demo. It's a showcase, an eye-candy for all you ppl out there with single display.

In the advanced graphic settings, I set every at medium, that's it. No tweaks, no nothing. A good game as it is, it didn't require hacks to fix the FOV or aspect ratio

  • Duh is this on medium or very medium?

  • is this on high or very high?

  • SYSTEM SPECS?!?!?!

  • all the system specs are listed in the trailer of this video, starting at 2:40. If you need to know anything more, let me know.

It's a fast machine but there are faster ones, and it's not even SLI, so nothing extraordinary. Also not o/c'ed.

  • nice. that way better then my 1 screen 720 by 1280. (yes its an HD tv)

  • Fucking sexy.

  • Love it!
