Honestly I dont see anything wrong with the crowd. Theyre appreciating the phenomenal music created by La Dispute. You dont have to be moving around to appreciate music. Standing in awe is fine too. let it go.

I don't think the crowd is bad, the reason you cant hear them is because they way they have the audio recording for the camera is from a direct feed from the microphone and amps. It's so people can understand him better rather than hearing the crowd instead.

The fact that most of the crowd is so stagnant shows just how shit and sheepish the majority is: props to them if they are in awe of the performance but this is unlikely. Same shit happened with blood brothers and countless others, but whatever all experience for humans is subjective and temporary: when you manage to connect with the mass consciousness come back here and tell me about it, untill then wallow in ignorence. this is no esoteric, hipster elitism, this is feeling, so show me yours!!

this type of hardcore descends from the original type of hardcore which was much more a scene that involved lots of stuff, not just music, so "moving" is still very natural to some, it just comes with enjoying the music.

Jordan was sick when they played California, i saw them a few days before this in AZ, cut him some slack. His voice usually does sound a bit better but there's no doubt that they're the most fucking phenomenal band i've ever experienced live. SO much heart.
