This 1310 rated chessplayer from Greece tried the Scotch Game on me (1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4) and we played the Main Line (3...exd4 4. Nxd4) so I'm like come on essay 4...Nf6 5. Nxc6 bxc6 and he tried to pin my knight to my queen (6. Bg5) but I broke the pin (6...Be7) and then that fool went 7. Nc3 and I was like get your bishop out of my face holmes (7...h6) and 8. Bh4 O-O 9. Bd3 d5 10. e5 Ng4 11. Bg3 Bb4 12. h3 Bxc3+ 13. bxc3 Nxe5 14. Bxe5 Re8 15. Qe2 f6 16. Bg6 Rxe5 and I beat that fool ay.

The best move for black is in fact 5... Na5,

If black plays 5... Nd4 white will respond with 6c3

after 5... Na5(chasing the bishop) 6 Bb5+ c6 7dxc6 bxc6 Now if white wants to keep the bishop on a5 black can chase the knight with h6 followed by e4 and black will be in good position(7Ba5 h6 8Nf3 e4 now only square for the black knight is g1 and all knights previous moves become waste.(Ne5 will be met by Qd4 and Nh4 will be met by g5). 9Qe2 is the best move for white here)WhiteShouldPlay7Qf3orBd3

The future of chess is in Chess960 or FRC. This takes us back to pure chess where there is no - at the moment - opening theory. Chess960 takes a player out of their comfort zone and truely tests their understanding of the game.

Traditional chess relies heavily on opening theory and prepartion away from the board. it has become stale and boring.

Some English expressions I think would help you guys - 1."threaten" (not "make dangerous") eg "White wants to threaten Black's pawn"; "Black's pawn [will be/is now/was] threatened by Black's knight". 2 "fork" eg "White has Black in a fork", "White's Queen has forked (is threatening both) Black's knight and its King." 3. Finally "pawn" rhymes with "or", not "yawn". Actually the pronunciation of "porn" is exactly the same as "pawn"! Strange I know.
