JWs deny Jesus is God...So do muslims.

Islam does not believe Jesus is the only way to Heaven.

JWs don't believe Jesus is the only way to Heaven.

JWs believe, Heaven for the 144,000 is not gained by trusting Jesus to forgive their sins but by good works. Just like muslims.

Islam has their prophet.

JWs have their prophet...The Watchtower & all past presidents.

So, it's not a big step to go from being a JW to being a muslim.

Both paths lead to hell.

They believe all these things: YES they are Christian! In secular scholarship they are considered to be a Christian Group. Islamically, you are all Christians.

@ExMuslim4Jesus It is clear that not all early Christians believed Jesus is Almighty God. While considered to be heretical by the Catholic Church, there were many who were strict Unitarians in belief. It is even said that Constantine, who presided over the council of Nicea, died as a Unitarian.

Regarding JWs, secularly they are considered to be a Christian group. Islamically they are part of the “People of the Book”. So it doesn’t matter to us.

@ExMuslim4Jesus As for myself, I am fully aware of mainstream Christian belief regarding the trinity and the issues concerning salvation. I spent about a year and a half or so reading different books from mainstream Christian Scholars regarding the trinity. The fact that you come from Egypt means nothing since I have found that many who come from the middle east are ignorant of their religion and have only learned things by tradition rather than doing serious studying.

Muslims who became Christian were generally not very religious and always have some strange experience and act out of emotion. The truth is that debates can go on and on. Before you judge me or start wondering about my religion; I am not religious, I do believe in Jesus being the Son of God. Like it is written: "let us make man..." it does not say God made man. I would say that the Jehovah's Witnesses have the closest true knowledge of God, Jesus, life, afterlife (they also have flaws).

@SANTRECE13 While I can appreciate your comments regardin the words "Let Us make man in Our image", this does not mean plurality of persons but is a royal plurality. Even Allah in the Qur'an uses the terms "Us", "We" and "Our" repeatedly. However it strictly adheres to the absolute unity of God. These terms are commen on semitic language.

The Qur'an is admittedly different in its view of Jesus. In fact it seeks to clarify misconception about him. I would ask why? Is there any truth to it?

@JEVAH5 The Torah is written in Hebrew. The letter "J" is not in the Hebrew alphabet nor the Greek alphabet so JESUS can't even be his original name. For the bible, the old testament was written in Hebrew, the new Testament was written in Greek so obviously JESUS was not what he was called. Peace to you!
