  • for all of the comments regarding the warning at the beginning...this video was made for a college class and the warning was a requirement. sorry if it sounds retarded, it was for the grade. yay for college.

  • how will playing guitar for 3 years teach you how to adjust truss rods?

  • This guys a dunce. "Every guitar has a truss rod." Classical style guitars usually don't.

  • hey guys I adjusted my truss rod and my guitar diddnt explode

  • Heyy end your song.... "Sometimes...I feel that I should..." I`m waiting too.

  • spent at least 1 year looking at your guitar before thinking about plucking the strings

  • good job, bud. keep working at vids.

  • I spent 56 years of experience before touching my guitar

  • I have the same exact guitar, can u plz tell me how much they are worth.

  • @MrCompositor24 a Washburn D10? probably about 200 bucks, depending on how good the condition is. Honestly, it's such a nice guitar for the price that you'd get a better value keeping it.

  • whats the name's song of the end video? "sometimes... I feel that I should...." please.

  • @grimald21 It's a song that I wrote...it's still a work in progress ha

  • @emoscum11 You should upload that song seems really good!!

  • lol, it's huevos grandes... not grandes huevos

  • @omgitsmeagain13 NO IT'S LA COSA TIENE COJONES

  • only steel string and electric guitars. classical(nylon string) dont

  • you need at least 6 years of experience of playing guitars before you should even mess with the tuning pegs

  • Thanks man, but why does everybody treat the truss rod like a piece of fruit from the tree of knowledge in the garden of eden? It's not like I had the hammer drill rigged up with a nut driver on full speed before i saw this video.

  • I think all guitar tutorials should always be introduced with Frightened Rabbit from now on

  • Everyone saying that you don't need expierience and that you don't need expierience to do this, he was just warning you because as he said you can do major damage to your guitar resulting in a fractured neck (expensive) or crack your fret board (also expensive) and much more and if you've been playing your guitar for a few years you have a feel for it and can usually tell how much it can take, good video helped me out thanks

  • not every guitar has one, some cheapo's don't, squier and such

  • think you should have lossened the strings before you did the adjustment.

  • @jhaley12 only if you're tightening the bow

  • thanks dude! sooooo helpful. Liked the music at the end too! :)

  • simple peaple dont touch the truss rod ask a guitar tech to show you first hand

  • @stringzmusic661 if your not a moron you'll be fine its not rocket science.

  • thanks for this :)

  • how can two or 3 years playing help at all, you just need to not be a jack ass when doing it!

  • @koston240life because what he means that over time you know what a guitar SHOULD play like, intonation etc. to the point where you know exactly when notes and chords ring true, what's needed to be done and as a guitarist, know what to do and not to seek the "advise" of an "expert" that'll charge for turning an allen key. lol

  • You said all guitars have trust rod in the beginning. Most classical guitar do not have trust rods. Great video and nice warning.

  • im just wondering but if i am tighten my trussrod (to correct overbowing) should i loosen my strings?

  • Very nice work. The warning at the beginning was good to include. Great overview of how to test for warp in the neck. Only thing is that you could have included additional camera angles when you were testing for warp in the neck.

  • BTW,

    Lebanon Valley College

    Usability Class Project

  • Nice warning up front. Liked the way you matched the instructions to your audience. Solid instructions.

  • Good warning at the beginning. Nice close-up of 6th fret. Good warnings throughout. Actor needs to speak more slowly, identify tools at the beginning, and present in clearly delineated steps. Good lighting, but the audio quality was a little distracting. Overall a good video.

  • You've gotta love these armchair film critics on YouTube.

Nice info, emoscum. I just gave it a try and nothing broke! :)
