for all of the comments regarding the warning at the beginning...this video was made for a college class and the warning was a requirement. sorry if it sounds retarded, it was for the grade. yay for college.
@MrCompositor24 a Washburn D10? probably about 200 bucks, depending on how good the condition is. Honestly, it's such a nice guitar for the price that you'd get a better value keeping it.
Thanks man, but why does everybody treat the truss rod like a piece of fruit from the tree of knowledge in the garden of eden? It's not like I had the hammer drill rigged up with a nut driver on full speed before i saw this video.
Everyone saying that you don't need expierience and that you don't need expierience to do this, he was just warning you because as he said you can do major damage to your guitar resulting in a fractured neck (expensive) or crack your fret board (also expensive) and much more and if you've been playing your guitar for a few years you have a feel for it and can usually tell how much it can take, good video helped me out thanks
@koston240life because what he means that over time you know what a guitar SHOULD play like, intonation etc. to the point where you know exactly when notes and chords ring true, what's needed to be done and as a guitarist, know what to do and not to seek the "advise" of an "expert" that'll charge for turning an allen key. lol
Very nice work. The warning at the beginning was good to include. Great overview of how to test for warp in the neck. Only thing is that you could have included additional camera angles when you were testing for warp in the neck.
Good warning at the beginning. Nice close-up of 6th fret. Good warnings throughout. Actor needs to speak more slowly, identify tools at the beginning, and present in clearly delineated steps. Good lighting, but the audio quality was a little distracting. Overall a good video.
