Penn State students gave over 9 million dollars to the four diamonds fund which aids familys that have children suffering from cancer. So instead of using media coverage to talk about how penn state doesnt care about children, why dont we look a bit deeper and see there isnt a college in this country that cares more about children than Penn State?

@fenway2424 I didn't realize that following the law was negligence. What McQueary told Paterno and what McQueary told the Grand Jury were two separate things. If you haven't read, McQueary's story has changed multiple times since the Grand Jury testimony. But, I guess nailing an 85 year old man to the wall is easier than holding McQueary responsible for his own inaction.

And no one blames Paterno for what Sandusky did, they just lost a lot of respect for him because of what he -didn't- do, that is the right thing. This applies to everyone who knew at Penn State and didn't tell the police.

@ec3591 Actually, State Law is if suspected child abuse is brought up, you are to take it to your immediate supervisor, not witnessed, was Curley. Curley was JoePA's supervisor. Had JoePA witnesses the molestation/rape first hand, going to the police is a different matter. But Joe had no evidence, and what McQueary told him is not what McQueary told the Grand Jury. Actually, McQueary's story has changed a few times since the scandal broke out.
