Austin...I am touched by the sincerity in your message to all of us employees and the company we once worked for. This is a similar reaction to the one that my son had when I told him that his mom would be losing her job at borders because they were closing. We spent 15 minutes crying together in the car and talking about what we would do to help mom out in the days, weeks, months, and maybe years to come. I thank you for your touching words austin.
Sending a HUG your way, Austin. I worked for the White Flint Mall Borders in Maryland for 12 year's and am very touched by your video. As another person said, don't forget the library! It'll be O.K. and you'll be just great! Keep enjoying those books and toys. YAY!!!
Thank you, Austin... your honesty is so touching. I've watched you cry in this video now 4 times, and it breaks my heart each time. I worked at Borders for 6 years, so I'm sad right there with you, Buddy. You sure did get some cool stuff though. I hope you always love books and toys as much as you do now.
I worked at a Borders in New Jersey for three years and I'm really going to miss it just as much as you are. KEEP READING! It's people like you that made working in a bookstore worth it every day.

Aw shoot Austin-I was crying when you were crying!...I worked for 16 years at #122 in Wichita, Kansas-and we think your'e just great for liking us so much! Enjoy the books and toys you got buddy!...
Awwwww D: Poor kid. I'm going to miss Borders, too! So many great books and so many memories. It's such a shame it has to close. But it'll be alright, Austin. It'll be okay. C:
I worked at store 498 in DeKalb IL and 464 in Lees Summit MO. Borders was my 2nd home for the better part of 5 years. It makes me sad to know that Borders is becoming nothing more than a memory.
Thanks Austin :) I worked in the children's section with kids and elementary teachers for many years with Borders. We miss you guys as much as you're missing us. A lot of us have tears right now as well, but when we see a video like the one you made, it makes us proud to have been one of your favorite places to go :) *big hugs* and remember, every time you pick up one of those books you can remember the good times you had too.
