You are amazing. I am not hearing impaired but am looking to learn to sign. I don't know why, but it fascinates me. I'm getting there, but it is hard for me because I can watch 15 different people sign this one song, and NONE are even close to being alike. I now know how to say Earth, Fireflies and Dream 15 different ways. You are very articulate and do not 'Short cut the words' and you did an awesome job at making yourself visible from multiple angles. I just deleted 14 favs, now you are my #1

@MrZer0mani Hi!, If you are trying to learn true ASL of this song I would go to Allyballybabe she is truely the most accurate. All interpreters are different, most of the time they don't even sign the actual lyric, they change the words to make it more understandable. This girl is more close to SEE (signed exact english) and deaf people really don't communicate in that language they use ASL. I've been deaf since birth and this interpretation is cool but hard to follow the meaning.(:

Very nice! But it is mis-labeled.... Your not signing ASL, your signing Pidgin Signed English (PSE)... ASL has its own grammar and structure... Deaf will understand what your saying, and you had great facial expression, but its not their TRUE native language... Still a good job though!

good job. I'd like to suggest a little more body language. I think you facial expression is pretty good but you could maybe try and tone up the body language a little bit at the different climax's of the song. Also I think the cloths change was good and the mirrors were cool, I thought the mirrors might be a little distracting at first but i don't think they were too bad. Good job.

well your signs are accurate, but your GLOSS SYNTAX isn't. i Read that an ASL student was trying to learn signs, but if they also learn this SEE order(Sign Exact English), then they might run into conflict later on in their learning. also when signing "LIGHTNING BUG" (fireflies) u looked very angry, lol and fireflies are a joyful bug :)

I think you did an amazing job. i don't understand the contovery over "that is more PSE than ASL". All the signs used are american sign language signs. I prefer PSE interpretation for songs because it helps asl students learn more asl vocabulary!! Keep up the great job - you are a wonderful signer!

first of all, great great job on it (: your signs are very clear. it does take tons of work to learn to sign a song, let alone edit the video. I'm in sign language too and im always nervous to sign songs :P

the only thing id suggest, is that the part where you were signing with the mirror in the background, it was a little distracting to your actually singing. its not a huge distraction, but it could get hard to focus.
