Crazy Hangzhou Traffic

This is simply how traffic is in The Peoples Republic entirely... In Shanghai and other larger cities, there are many police officers, but the traffic is actually a lot worse. The crime in China is very low, relative to its size. However it does have the most auto accidents per square capita..

yep----this is really how it is!!! I was there recently (4/11) and will always remember my first crazy bike ride in Hangzhou:) Can't believe how it works and yet it does!! Ridiculous indeed and oddly so chaotic that I too was humored!!

This is actually more efficient since individuals meet decision equilibriums. Fewer vehicles are stopped at one time. It is much like the Coase theory in economics.
