@freddy90883 Indeed, and they made a HUGE mistake by featuring the TV ad for the first Halloween withing the Halloween 3 movie, breaking the third wall so to speak. That makes it Halloween 3D, not Halloween 3. It was a major sham. To add insult to injury, they went ahead and resurrected Michael Myers for a 4th installment with no explanation as to how he came back after being barbecued to oblivion

@2012XF3 After Halloween II the filmmakers were wanting to try something new, and make the series like a Twilight Zone where each installment had a different story and different characters. This film was ok. But the title of Halloween set expectations way too high, and people were disappointed. People wanted Michael.

H2 was supposed to be the end of Michael Myers and it was a GREAT ending and an amazing film.

H3 was a step in the new direction and they had creative ideas on what they were gonna do,Every film from then was gonna be a horror story based around Halloween.

But no. Halloween fans bitched and moans because Myers wasn't here.

So the fucking franchise is drilled into the ground with terrible movies lacking creativity and ruined the Myers persona.
