i went to bingham back in 95. everyone called me "Hard On Tom". i could out run anyone, because im a CONtractor that is running all the time from creditors. i lost my house on the hill in draper to the bank. i keep changing my company name. my secretart (AKA mommy) warns me when someone is looking for me. i have "integrity"?? HT--utah.
Not to Burst yall's bubbles .. but Trey Williams will out run this nigga & that nigga tipa from west makes him look like a Crackup joke! haha hes good tho.. best tongan runningback ive seen..
Does anybody seem to realize that maybe one of the best running backs in high school football might be gettign red-shirted his freshman year? Maybe its just me but that says something about the depth, and talent level that the utes posses this year.
some of langi's highlights remind me of phil poloa who ran for jordan high back in 02... phil ran a 4.3 and it showed. i doubt harvey runs a 4.18... that kind of speed is completely obvious at the high school level. but, no hate. harvey's speed is good enough and can be approved upon. but, it's his athleticism and ability to see the field that makes him a great running back. you do you harvey. let the haters hate.
@tamasandy that kind of speed is obvious at the high school level- did you see him break into the open field? He is ten yards ahead of anyone on the field if you give him 1.3 seconds of open space. Isnt that pretty obvious?
@volunteersclan i didn't say he was slow... did i? i said he doesn't run a 4.18. i don't think you understand what that kind of speed is. that's like usain bolt type speed... maybe. you can out run kids in high school like that with a 4.3 or 4.4 forty time...
chris johnson recorded the fastest nfl combine time for running backs EVER... his was a 4.24. langi is not faster than chris johnson.
so, to answer your question, no... not "pretty obvious".
@volunteersclan by the way, nfldraft(dot)com has langi at a 4.68... bleacherreport(dot)com has him at a 4.5... like i said before, harvey's speed is good enough and can be improved upon. but, it's his athleticism and ability to see the field that makes him a great running back. he's a hard runner. his factual talent is enough to talk him up. no need to make exaggerated "chuck norris" claims.
Harvey Langi is definitely a great prospect, but 4.18 no impossible i say this because he only had like 52 yards in 13 attempts against Euless Trinity. That how you know Texas football is too much even for the greats here in Utah.
My good friend Okalani Langi is Harvey's cousin. Look Okalani Langi up on the Calabasas Raiders. National Championship wrestler, and best running back known as a 13-14 year old in California. Kid's a stud..Just like Harvey
Go to Utah! Harvey will have a great chance to play right away while at Stanford there is a ton of RB's. Stay in state. Utah has a good education too, great football team and has the longest bowl winning streak in the nation. Add they will now be in the Pac12 why not go to Utah Harvey?
He is so over rated and an ass hole only reason he has a chance is his blockers. You wanna see a real running back look up jovan the nigger londan he do it by him self no need for blockers. TCG for life
@tubbytubbyful hahaha you're such a dumb fuck bro, overrated and getting looked at by twenty one d-1 schools? ya my ass, when you run for over 2500 yards your sophomore year and continue to run for 1500+ yards the rest of your high school career including over 12 touchdowns a season, he's far from overrated!
@fjfhuifh He isn't quite that fast, last time he clocked himself, he was running a 4.4...however, his vision, and awareness of the field definitely makes a difference on the field. Thanks for tuning in.
@Questionyoursource they did say that his break away speed was one of his biggest flaws, but his vision and awareness and all around skill is extremely impressive!
The day that you are satisfied with your accomplishments is the day that you became mediocre. Stay hungry, stay humble, represent your culture well, and remember the sacrifices your elders did to make your life what it is today. Other than that, good luck, stay healthy, and DO NOT go to USC....they will just use you like they did Havili. Stanley was way better then those other chumps but got no love.....AT ALL! ia fa.
@iBall5 Its a misunderstanding my friend. Yeah, Havili is a great FB but i wished they really gave him a fair shot at playing RB. He was a top recruit as a RB in high school so i really thought that he would play that position. Yeah its a team sport and Bush and LenDale were playing but when they both left i really thought that coach Carrol would give him the RB role cuz i think hes better then Joe McNight and Stephon Johnson. Also, as a FB they barely utilized him as much. Such awaste of talent
@mcsuchnsuch Its no secret that USC was loaded at RB the past couple years. That just shows what kinda person Havili is. He took the lesser role for the betterment of the team. Kinda like how Ronnie Brown rolled to fullback when Cadillac Williams came aboard. I expect Havili's role to be bigger now this season.
@mcsuchnsuch What are you talking about Havili is pretty much the most important player in the USC offense right now. He is the best FB in the nation. At RB he would just be another guy.
@pilottim79 buddy, You say hes the most important player in the offense but yet you think he is just another guy with the ball? Yeah blocking is good but i think he can out produce any RB on the roster. He got hands, vision, and good burst, why not give him more touches is all im saying.
He needs to go to USC. Stanley Havili is graduating and will leave a big hole for him as a FB (a very important position in USCs offense) Fight On Harvey!
this dude is trash..... i dont think he even had over 50 yards against TRINITY when he came out here... if he wants to be dominant he better pick up the speed then... he wont be successful in the next level because the speed is at a greater level... i kno he saw that in TEXAS... good luck tho to wherever yu go
I think Stanley Havili needs someone to replace him at the University where they put more kids in the NFL than anywhere else. Plus, it is a GREAT academic institution.
i went to bingham back in 95. everyone called me "Hard On Tom". i could out run anyone, because im a CONtractor that is running all the time from creditors. i lost my house on the hill in draper to the bank. i keep changing my company name. my secretart (AKA mommy) warns me when someone is looking for me. i have "integrity"?? NO question about it. Gotta go to Utah. Pac 12. With Shakerin out for his career, Utah automatically puts you in as the fullback.

4:18? I really doubt that. I dont think he has blazing speed but he seems to have a lot of heart, power, and can break a lot of tackles.
