Singing this song live that good (even better than on the album) truly shows what a great singer Kay is.

Unlike those so-called singers like Stephy, Twins, Boy'z. They give you the shivers when they sing live...brrr.

is it just me or the key in this one is actually lower than the one @ 903 live?

i think the same thing happened to faye wong where she couldn't go back to her usual level right after her pregnancy. she's still really good right now but i agree she doesn't sound as good now as in this video.

re: 'false' vs 'real' voice. to me, her 'false' sounds much, much nicer than say Janice's or Kelly's 'real' voice, which scare me every time i listen to them sing high notes.

secondly, it also depends on what the song demands. falsetto lets you reach higher notes, and for this song, she can definitely reach quite high.

furthermore, search for the video where Kay sings "If I ain't got you" (with khalil fong) with her 'real' high voice. it sounds better than others (like janice and kelly.)

i was just listenning to the same song from the mini concert she did in Aug

no offence, but this one she sounds so much better

she's still a very skilled and awesome singer now

but too bad can't really deny that after her baby she really disproved..

maybe it's just me.. but i prefer her old songs and "branding"

now her songs are still good, but they are just not as good

also her mature "branding" is just my cup of tea

having said that... kay is still an awesome singer

i love every version of this song, whenever she sings it. on the surface, this song seems simple. but in kay's hands, even simple songs sound extraordinary.

however, i disagree with the statement that this rendition is better than her 903 one, which was perfect.

listen to the 903 version again, and you can hear that she was FLAWLESS in it. she gave 120% into that performance. she hit every note perfectly and she was extremely emotional.
