Same here, i wasnt really in to vista, so i went to all my friends looking for windows Xp and found it and traded. Im using Windows Service Pack 3 and i havent had a problem. are ur updates on or off, cause u will need to update all ur things
Yeah all my updates are on. Seems the problem was in my UPS backup, there was a short in it. but SP3 still slowed down my internet connection big time.
See u gotta watch using it on somethings. it mainly for ur pc after the power goes and and it keeps the computer lasting 15mins. i think the main thing my teacher said not to use it on was either printers and scanners or monitor. i positive on printer, not sure on scanner.
System Restore is a handy utility, but it only saves so many restore points. As it makes new ones, it removes old ones. If you install something that creates a problem you don't notice for awhile, it's very possible the restore point from before you installed it will be gone.
Oh so that's how it works I didn't know that. Good info to pass along, thanks. anyway things are working alot better now, no more unexpected shut downs.
also, don. if you want to remove SP3, then just go into your control panel > add/remove programs > and then remove Service Pack 3. if that fails, then maybe consider reformatting your computer and backing up your files before doing reformatting?
SP3 never worked with me..

mac is is really easy
and windows can get viruses
the only mac cold get them is if you downloaded windows on it
its not more complicated it's just different
xdomaraqx 3 years ago
Well I'm behind a firewall so I don't I need to worry about viruses, but you're right mac's are different.
