i feel the pain. i suffer from bulimia, and its so painful to see life the way its supposed to be. its not me in the mirror...but if i lose more pounds...everything will be ok, even tho i know its not going to.
A lot of comments here seem to blame the individual with the eating disorder. I want to point out that there are psychological consequences to being underweight that keep the eating disorder going. Once a person drops below a BMI of 19 they automatically become more obsessive, more rigid, more indecisive, and have heightened feelings of fullness. This is part of why anorexia becomes self-maintaining eventually. And so it's unlikely for the person to "snap out of it" without support.
This is great because I saw the previews for this show, but then I never heard anything else about it, and I never knew when they came on. Is this show still on E?

you know you dont get it. its the most terrifying thing to see this happen to someone you love and yes she was selfish but whats important is that her sister grew and found a way to support her in the end
@phoenix1237spoken no sweety, your the one that doesn't "get it" i know all about this okay? and there is a way to handle a situation like this and she did not handle it right by any means...she was mean cold and nasty. there is no excuse for her behavior, espciallly towards someone with a disorder.
That sister's kind of insensitive. I mean, that's hard. That's really hard. But... that's still... "stupid eating disorder"? How that must make Gabby feel....
I wish there was someway i could help all these viewers with the same bulimic and anorexia problem. I was addicted for 5 years and i got sent to a treatment center, they weren't any help. Then i started praying and asking God for deliverence and honestly that is what saved me. If you need help send me a message or something...
Jennifer is such a character about it all and doesn't make it seem as bad as it is (same thing i do as well...hmm...)
