  • Evidence of what. You heard what others have been hearing. I label them night sounds of the forest. The dead elk that was covered again means what. Most prey animals cover their kill.

  • @flycatchful Yes prey animals with hands.

  • I grew up in a very rural part of Ohio, I have heard those sounds while camping. I have also heard the same calls that were recorded in Combiana county Ohio.

  • @flabeachcomber Awesome. Id like to get vocalizations like that recorded. Was hoping to get good yells this year on my other recordings but mostly knocks. Maybe you can record some yells out there sometime.

  • @cxd4 I moved away from there four years ago. I live in Florida now. If you go to the BFRO websight, they have the recordings there. For Columbiana county Ohio. The county I lived in was Portage. Look that county up on the BFRO website too.

  • Other than the elk covered with grass, did you uncover any other strange things? While you were out there did you ever leave your camp? Was anything in the camp disturbed? I'm thinking that whatever you recorded, it had to know of your presence in the woods.

  • @flabeachcomber The elk was the only thing I saw or noticed. Nothing was disturbed in camp. Sounded like there were 2 close by making sounds while the others were in the valley.

  • that was a kool vid thanks for shareing

  • @cxd4 "For each his own" I wish you the best in your quest of the truth. The creatures IMO are real but current evidence lacks scientific proof.

  • Stones or rocks having been thrown at researchers, the sound of wood knocking and the howls that cannot be identified are enough for me to believe that there is a creature that has oppose able thumbs and stands or walks on it's hind legs.

  • Mr. cxd4, Thanks for posting your videos. Great work. Very professional.

  • @orcasun16 Thanks orcasun16.

  • so the elk was not covered up by you with grass ? and why was it sitting there so long, i guess im confused !

  • @3006USMC No I found it that way when I went through the Valley looking for the source of the knocks. Something with hands buried it in grass.

  • Very cool.

  • nice work sounds very much like a wood knocking sasquatch

  • wer eas this at??

  • Excellent capture ! Thanks fer shareing with all of us !! TC !

  • @73roadrunner1 Thanks 73roadrunner. Ive enjoyed you analysis vids. Ill keep recording until the snow hits.

  • night birds and animals,,even insects..wind all kinds of sounds

  • At the very least it makes you wonder what's out in the dark in the middle of no where!!

  • Wouldn't wanna hear that shit at night! at one point it sounded like pots and pans falling lol

  • @ about 1:35 to almost 2:00, you can hear something fairly close breathing.

  • Get any Elk? They are there hunting too! Great audio.

  • @bigfootresearch Yeah got one, and there were lots of elk back in the meadows. You can see the elk I got on my channel, the one that got buried, "crossbow cam".

  • That's creepy and exciting all at the same time. Sounded like you had several animals communicating with wood-knocks.

Are you going to try and get more evidence?

  • @MaximusTheHeretek Yeah I plan on getting in there again in August for a one week expedition with new night cam and audio setup. There were several and also sounded like 2 close to my tent communicating with different snapping sounds. Thanks for the comment.

  • @cxd4 Don't use night vision equipment they can see the IR illuminators and activity will halt emediately

  • @MMACHMP Ive heard that too. I dont have a choice at night in dense cover. Its the best way to pick up eye shine.

  • @cxd4 well if it's possible get a thermal imager

  • @MMACHMP Id like to but too expensive for me. Id like to get a Pulsar X550R that has great moonlight sensitivity, about $1300. Right now I have the Pulsar 550R, $650, that should work great in the meadows with moonlight only. About half the sensitivity of the X550R.

  • @cxd4 well if you ever want a seasoned Squatch researcher to come along let me know I am also a hunter as well and live in Norcal near Oregon border.

  • @MMACHMP Thanks. I will keep that in mind.

  • @MMACHMP Wow, you are one of the first to mention this about IR light. I have thought that for many years now but it seems like nobody really believes this. I guarantee you that they can see those IR lights and trail cams like spotlights in the dark woods. There is video of one sneaking up and crawling on the ground, the whole time hiding behind a stump, just to get an apple left on top of it.. If they can't see the light, why wouldn't they enter from the side view? Great comment. Thanks.

  • Hey man, this is amazing, l would love to camp out and watch for Bigfoot lm a hudge beliver and l do some research, but l live in the UK.. lol

keep this up and l will keep in touch very well done :] btw bring a shotgun?

  • @TomKennyIsLovely Hello Tom. Ill have a 45 with me on the night adventures through the valley. Keep an eye out for them over there. You never know when they will show up.

  • Very creepy sounds indeed. Bears will bury their meat at times. Keep us posted on any new expeditions or discoveries !

  • @thelaughingyeti Looks like Ill have to move the expedition to early August due to the heavy snow this year. The valley is above 9000 feet and has about 12 feet of snow now according to satelite photo. Cant wait to get in there with the new night cam and audio setup. I hope they will be in there this year.

  • @cxd4 - Thanx for the update. The weather has just been nuts ! Hope conditions are more ideal by then. Did you see my comment about northern WY ? Any thoughts on that area ?

  • @thelaughingyeti I havent been up there in the Bighorns. My brother lives up that way. Looks more rugged and remote than the south mountains. Would be a great place to do some investigating. Ill check BFRO for sightings in that area.

  • @cxd4 - Ok. Cool. That would be awesome. Thanks for your timely responses. Safe trails !

  • Have you ever explored northern WY ? Bighorn Mnts? SE yellowstone Etc. Game wardens & people wont camp for fear of grizz but there are plenty of sightings & vocalizations from there as well. In fact if you look at expeditions planned by different research groups, this area is always avoided. Bigfoot knows this & stays there !

  • Cool, thanks for posting. Keep us updated if you catch any more.

  • @laughingcrows Ill be back up there in early July for a one week expedition. I have a new recorder that I can leave out there for weeks. Ill record video and audio for that one week then leave it out there for 2 months or more. Should be interesting. Thanks for the comment.

  • i grew up and hunted, camped and hiked in southwest wyoming. came across some strange stuff in the back country thanks for the post

  • great video that is sas talking to the others i get that alot in my area.

  • @markz800 Thanks markz800. I see you are doing some research. Do you have any audio recordings from your area?

  • @cxd4 yes i do but i don't have them on here i can't figure out how to edit it and upload to youtube.

  • @markz800 I used windows movie maker for editing and adding video. You can also use Audacity, a free audio editor you can down load. Works great.

  • @cxd4 hey thanks for the info i'm going to check audacity out . i already have windows movie maker .you have any more vids or audio?

  • @markz800 I have another vid and audio of a strange human like elk call, but I think there were hunters in the area, although it doesnt quite account for how it sounds. Also some close to tent finger snapping sounds. Not sure if its a stick or fingers. Maybe ill post those so you can check them out.

  • @cxd4 please do stick snapping is clasic bigfoot activity there's another good stick snapping audio on here i'll look it up and let you know so you can listen to it and see if it sounds like what you've heard .

  • @markz800 Thanks. I put up the other sounds, strange elk call and stick snaps.

  • Vocals are interesting to me. Are you in a group or alone?

  • @jrhocking I was out there alone elk hunting. Im planning on getting back out there early July and doing a week of audio/video recording/investigating. Also plan on setting up my recorder to record for 3 weeks straight at a time. Should be some interesting results, if they are still in that area.

  • Could they possibly be Bighorn sheep ramming their horns together and echoing through the mountains?

  • Oh this is treasure. Please contact me.

  • Ive used a microphone to listen to night sounds at that location for the last 4 hunting seasons and other locations in the Snowies and have never heard that kind of banging sound. 2 days later I went down into the valley and banged some big rocks together while running the recorder at camp and it sounded identical.

  • Is the knocking on September 14th common sounds? Trees tend to creak, but I do not hear any wind. Could the knocking be made by elk trying to ward off other elk?

  • @cxd4 how often do you get to go out and hunt....and would your bow provide sufficient protection in case the source of those yells are hostile

I should mention in my first comment to you that my jab at future Bigfoot recordings relates to most of the video recordings posted here...most of which are not very convincing...but I am intrigued by the audio recordings and the 911 calls

  • @Meowie2000special I hunt this area once a year. I got an elk the second morning out, then started hearing the noises so I stayed 4 more days to record the night sounds. When I went out at night to close in on the sounds I had a 45 auto and 2 clips, just in case. But there was no threatening vibe, and the "hummer" seemed happy. Maybe happy about the dead elk. I hope they stick around so I can get more audio recorded next year.

  • @cxd4 I am philosophy major who has an interest in accounts of personal events that are true, but are not readily apparent to others....think of it as a case of where the boy who cries wolf and has witnessed the wolf, but no one believes him

I am fascinated by what you have recorded and do not doubt your experience.

I am critical of some postings that tend not to reveal anything, such timber giant bigfoot, who apparently is near the area where I live

  • @cxd4 how isolated is that area where you hunt? I have travelled in the states and even when going through Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri...there is an awful lot of wilderness, so I assume there is lots of room for things to roam about

  • @Meowie2000special The Snowy Mountains are about 20 miles wide and 40 miles long in Wyoming and then extend into nothern Colorado. On the east is Laramie, pop 35000, and the west Saratoga, pop 2000. The gravel roads are taken care of but not many people use them. Long winters in the mountains so the sasquatch has a long time each year with no humans. I think thats why I felt no threat among them in the valley, they feel no threat from the very few of us.

  • The noise made during the midnight hour sounds like something knocking on wood, but the recording made after 1 am (at 2:40) sounds similar to the bigfoot screams, though not prominent as the one posted by 6x10x23, whose recording was made in the Sequoias. It seems that Bigfoot may be nocturnal....therefore, future bigfoot recordings may be worse than blurry.....they will be too dark to see anything.

  • @Meowie2000special I agree after 1 am the sounds have a real vocal quality to them.

And all the activity that I heard was after 10pm and nothing after first light with most activity between 12 and 3 am.

  • @cxd4 In regards to the elk buried in the grass, is that something that some animal would do with prey? And was there any wound on it?

Have you heard the strange yell from the 6x10x23 posting? I hear some similarity.

I would also be curious to know whether your nerves were on edge during that episode. I assume that hunting at night in a remote area kept you alert for some time.

  • @Meowie2000special @Meowie2000special Usually an elk carcass lasts about 4 days and its completely gone, eaten up by predators. This carcass is 7 days old and still there. Ive never seen one buried or covered by anything. I dont know of any animal that can pull up grass and put it on top of an elk. Looked like the guts had been eaten and some chewing marks on the ears. There was also a humming sound when I recorded the elk. Like a tune. It was low and quiet so didnt record.

  • @Meowie2000special Ive listened to those yells before from 6x10x23. I was hoping to get more vocal audio recorded. Maybe with more time and well placed mics. The vibe that night wasnt bad. When I was down in the valley at night, the moon was bright and the air calm. I went out around 10:30pm to close in on the knocks and get better audio. I could feel a presence in the valley and it was very quiet, like they stopped all activity.
