Well, I do play waboba and its a lot more fun than playing with any other ball in water. I guess it wouldnt have been a success if it wasnt. Just look at the video, no tennis bll behaves like that, let alone no second world war bomb. Its like comparing playing soccer with a tennis ball or playing with a soccer match ball. I cant really see the point.
Yeah, it bounces well, about the same as a stress ball. I'm simply correcting a lot of the innacurate hype and misleading promotional material around such as the gizmag article linked on the waboba site that make comments that the waboba is the first ball that can bounce on water. All balls can skip on water. See the olympic water polo?
Totally agree all balls can bounce on water, its just a hell lot of harder to make a tennisball bounce then a waboba. Some stressballs bounce really well too. As far as i've tried tho Waboba does bounce better, is easier to catch, looks sweet and doesnt break as fast as the stressballs i've been trying. I agree the gizmag statement is not correct. But what do you expect from an internet magazine? a complete history of everything thats ever bounced on water?

Barnes Wallis, inventor of the bouncing bomb used glass marbles, golf balls, all sorts of balls and got them to bounce on water.
They got steel bombs weighing 3 tons to bounce on water and destroy dams.
Any ball will bounce on water . It is very hard to find a sports ball that won't bounce on water unless it's non spherical
