@nunujack007 The triple-pan solo and the lead solo (guitar solo) were all by rote. Basically everything after it switches to fast was rote.

Mike Miller was my guitar teacher in 2000 and he was an amazing teacher. I never even knew he started a steel drum band at the school until I saw this video, absolutely amazing. He is a great teacher.

Not quite - there's a bunch of good musicians in the band. Mr. Miller is great for drawing out the talent. Dan (on triple cello) loves the pans. He graduated in 2008 and he's getting a band together at UMBC.

Mr. Miller is the man. I only wish I'd of taken up some steel drums back in the day. Old Mill seldom did anything cool but if Mr. Miller was involved rest assured it was gonna be bitchin.
