As the Oro have chosen SKX to lead them now... Well, that's the setup for the 3rd game (which many of us hope they make!!!)... And yes, the Pres of the USA is a member of the ORO according to this ending... I hope that straightns it out :)

There's a few unexplained things in the game that lead us to beleve he might have killed some innocent people (helicopter scene for one...) So... He's not a straight up hero anymore no; but Ethan is not the bad guy! Ethan is the Remedy... He just saved us humans from the Oro (the "hate" in the first game)... SKX is the new Bad Guy if you will for the third one... if they ever make it :) Hope that helps....

@VBHTV00 The boss is Dorland (which Condemned 2 is his first appearance). You play as Ethan (the guy you also played as in Condemned: Criminal Origins). He just looks different because it's 11 months later and since Criminal Origins his life has still been hell, and also it didn't help that he became a raging alcoholic.

It's happening... If you played through the game, you saw that Ethan has an extra organ inside him (the redacted xrays). This allows him to do the sound wave obliteration thing he does and, although it's not explained fully, see things that the rest of the world ignores. In the first game, "the hate" are all around him telling him to kill SKX for example and he just glimpses them. Now he's getting used to this and can see more into this world... People are dying and the oro is behind it.

The one thing that happens "just inside his head" is the fight agains the demon of drink... (Fight againt the thing voiced by Steven Blum in the bar below the theater)... That guy I don't think was real but merely "a part" of Ethan's personality. Which begs the question how did it talk to him through the TV's throughout the game... Creepy! I only say that because there's no body when he snaps out of it and all the things he says can be put down to someone reasoning something out themselves.

@swordbladez Yeah I figured that one out - his alcohol demon is imaginary. What about the airplane scene? Doesn't the demon talk to him in it, telling him the pilot is dead or something?

Does that mean Ethan killed the pilot? :O

@locsaretheshit You caught that one :) Since there's no one else there... I'm going to have to go with yes :( That's the other "proof" that he's imaginary in that he's killed yet he's around to "kill" that pilot... I do think it was Ethan...

@swordbladez The whole theme of the game is very disturbing ( in a good way ). One of the freakiest parts of the game was the doll factory. And the rabid bear was just plain scary as hell!

Not many good horrors out there unfortunately. I'll be glad to see them announce Condemned 3 though :)

@locsaretheshit Condemned 1 would be worth getting even though you played this first. I found it to be more disturbing in that good way. Also Dead Space :) I'm sure Dead Space 2 (don't have it yet) will be great as well... Lastly, not as good but fair (especailly for the price), was the FEAR series. 1, Files, and 2... 3 is coming April...

Again, these are just my beliefs & not explained or backed up anywhere except the fact that the Oro society does exist and was behind the killing of Ethan's mentor and tried to kill him as he is their feared "Remedy". SKX is their new "Leader" figure. Perfect set for a third installment! I can see why one may think it's all in his head but the news reports in the game do say real people are dying (like the mayor for one) and SKX and the Oro are behind it. Those "things" he sees are the Oro.

It absolutely is a callout for a third game to close up the skx part of the story and either explain "the remedy's" purpose or reveal Ethan's calling all together. I hope they make it! I LOVE this series!!!
