hmmm sounds fake, as one who works for NOAA, and my primary job is NWR....the voice doesn't match up to the tom voice and the tone wasn't a 1050 mhz tone

@21zachrwd Actually this is the real Tom voice from Nuance RealSpeak. But the NWS must modulate the voice a bit. But yes it is fake.

@dereksmith1011222 usually the voice does vary, for example our office the speed of the voice is normal like someone talking, but the office next to us the voice is really slowed down

Intereting so Tornados can ocour in coastal areas. They seem quite rare so I was not aware of that I did hear a Tornado occoured where I live in Surrey BC in about 1955 but did not know if it was true or not. did the tornado occour?

@XXTHE12THMANXX Impossible. The alert was issued at 7:40, and they can only be active for a maximum of 6 hours after the alert was issued. So, it was an error in the message encoding.

Amazing! I saw it ! It never touched the ground. It formed in downtown Beaverton and moved south toward Bull Mountain. I didn't know anything about it until I saw them. I had parked in the upper lot of Macy's at Washington Square when I observed a pair of funnel clouds moving from my right to left as I faced West toward Scholls Ferry Rd. They were rotating and dark black, really ugly looking. I watched them for about 5 minutes and they never touched the ground.

I bought that model 12-519. It totally a nice radio loaded with wonderful features. Battery back up for about 60 hours depending on usage. On Skywarn I have 20 of the most popular 2M ham repeaters programmed in. AM/FM radio. Nice memory features. Too bad it wasn't designed to hook up external speakers.
