@SoundsAndGear, how can you make a drum sound from scratch? like with a synth?

take a raw wave, adjust the attack, decay, filters, etc...and you'll have a synth drum. Its all about experimenting with the start/end of the sound, messing with the punch, adding eq, filters, etc.

you saint! do you know of a way to load sounds with out having to turn up the release, cause i can load a whole kit into the drum rack in live and i have to turn up the release on every sound to get the feel of the drum?
