Its not any harder than it usually is. Through my experience it is actually easier to play with hyper-speed on.

since you play real drums though... another thing you could do is buy a trigger setup (like ibiteprettyhard uses) and simply use your double bass setup from your real drum kit but i think the trigger is also only for RB and ion setups so if you ever use a GH:WT it will be useless. but i think for the price this would be a much better option than a $30 splitter and useing real pedels should feel better anyway. but im not sure on the price or where you would go about getting the trigger for RB/ion

great job! as far as the splitter issue go's... if you have GH:WT drums a typical splitter from radio shack works but sometimes you have to fuck wtih it to get both pedels to work properly (not pluging the splitter in all the way, tapeing the splitter, etc.) but with ion's or RB drums you'll have to buy a RB2 pedel and it will come with a battery backed up splitter. its like 30 bucks and ofcurse if you are useing destroyer pedels then you are basicaly paying 30 bucks for a splitter for RB.

I bought the Roadie 2 double kick pedal kit (with the coupler) only to discover that it totaly fucks up the signal when it comes to speed double kicking on most of the GH:Metallica songs on Expert+.

Is it MY kit or do someone else out there have the same problem? (the single pedals work perfectly when plugged directly to the drumkit...the problem is in the coupler),

my coupler works fine with my ions. it might be ur kit if u dont have ions, if not, then u just have bad luck.
