Clausen has always had money, thats not his drive at all. His drive is hearing his name called on draft day, when his older brothers names werent. He lives and breathes football, this is his dream and he wants to be great. There is no denying his talent, hes got a unique arm, Marino'esque IMO. Just a guy who knows where to put the football. People say he floats his deep throws sometimes, hes does, on purpose and even those are accurate. He can change the trajectory of his throws and launch it.

John Carlson, Justin Tuck, Ryan Grant, Trevor Laws, Victor Abiamiri, Chinedum Ndukewe, Ryan Harris, Jeff Samardjiza (played baseball instead but wouldve been a high pick), Maurice Stovall, Derek Landri, Tom Zbikowski, John Sullivan, Julius Jones and more. Clausen has always had money, thats not his drive at all. His drive is hearing his name called on draft day, when his older brothers names werent. He lives and breathes football, this is his dream and he wants to be great. There is no denying his talent, hes got a unique arm, Marino'esque IMO. Just a guy who knows where to put the football. People say he floats his deep throws sometimes, hes does, on purpose and even those are accurate. He can change the trajectory of his throws and launch it.

Playing injured would fall more into leadership. And I will even say that Clausen does look like a guy who could lead a team. More than anything I was talking about some of the news stories I've heard about him off the field. NFL teams give these kids so much money to point they might get too cocky. He is not known for dropped passes. ND is my favorite team, I watched every minute of every game. Tate dropped 2-3 passes in the UM game and honestly I cannot recall another right now. The knock on him is his route running. Tate has some of the most secure hands I've seen. I've seen Julio Jones, AJ Green all drop way more passes than Tate. For those watchign for the draft .... watch these throws and technique .... these are what NFL scouts need to see ...... (:30 , :46, :52 (back foot plant, step up) , 1:28 (can teach him progression reads, west coast), 1:35 (15 yard out from pocket, watch footwork) ...... He always planting that back foot and stepping up ... Charlie Weis is a pretty good coach.

It's a damn shame Jimmy's going to the NFL. I loved watching him and would've liked to watch him for one more year.

jimmy clausen is the best in my opinion nd has a great offense (jimmy clausen, golden tate, micheal floyd, armando allen, and kyle rudolph) but the irish's defense has been so sloppy and terrible that if the defense was better notre dame could be ranked.... i have to give props to sergio brown cause hes awesome..... btw i went to navy @ notre dame game this year :)
