Looks amazing, can't wait, 40k an amazing universe with a unique setting and backdrop. For anyone comparing this To wow or starcraft. Both wow and starcraft are direct rips from Warhammer and 40k. The origional warcraft was a warhammer game untill GW pulled the funding. Warcraft by far one of the best most successful MMO's out there but 40k deserves to be successfull after Blizzard made a killing on adapting GW's ideas. And while wow has gotten stale I will be playing this for a long long time.

Unless of course this game is going to be like Planetside where everything is done with squads and units. Then it could work. But this trailer shows alot of scenes with only one of two characters doing things that look like normal quests, which does make any sense for a big battlefield MMO.

@crackerjacky From what I have read I think it will focus more on smaller squads rather than huge armies. Although this doesn't entirely fit with the army vs army battles that Warhammer 40k is known for it is a lot more practical than having armies of hundreds on each side as it would result in individual player actions being fairly inconsequential which would reduce the fun factor of the game. It will essentially be a trade off between being true to the lore and being an rpg.

I dont understand how this game is going to work. Unlike in the warcraft universe, there is very little room in the 40k world for "individual intiative". Besides chapter commanders and guard generals and high ranking comissars there is no focus on individual characters. The game is about armies vs armies, not knight versus orc. If im playing as just some random guardsmen am I going to get quests to do things on my own? Yea right, one guardsmen sets off and saves the day with his flashlight.

Just look through the comments on this video. Notice that everyone wants something very different from the last. Warhammer is a vast universe with rich and well designed lore, and that is also the reason its so hard to make an online game out of it. Everyone likes different races, different chapters, different weapons and different systems. The developers also need to make sure it sticks to the lore, meaning the Imperium cant be allied with anyone etc. They really have their hands full.
