  • 1072? Why not 1080?

  • Hmmm. i5 2500k and this renders so slow. Like 2-3 hours for a 4 min video. Any help?

  • thanks!

  • This is an awesome tutorial, keep up the good work

  • so I just used your guide for some clips I fast recorded I use Sony Vegas 9.0

and I dont have those effect options as you do (where you might it more bright) it is called Color Corrector (Secondary) in your tutorial.

got any idea how I get it? :D

  • Thumbs up if syiler sent you here :)

  • I did exactly what you did, my quality is improved greatly but still not as good as yours. Could you look at my channel check the video called Test, its an arena match me and a DK please help

  • so i did all the settings you used and my video comes out to be 42 gigs, I used 3 ~2.6g videos is there anyways to down size?

  • THANKZ A LOT

  • This fixed all my problems. Thanks for sharing. 1920-1072 FTW

  • Thanks very much for doing this, I just made my first video tonight, and after uploading it and seeing what horrible quality it was, I found this video and am pleased with what I have now. Thanks again for doing this and giving back to the community.

  • I have a problem, I got sony vegas pro 9, and I can't change the constant bit rate in main concept. I click okay and it reverts back default 192,000. I d/l the cccp codecs using win 7.

  • I uploaded a test clip made by this guide, the quality is as good as it should be before uploading it to youtube. Youtube however destroyers it into something horrible. Any idea what would cause it?

  • @Masterplauser

I am going to assume you didn't read the text on the YouTube video screen that says "Your video is still processing. Quality will improve when processing is complete!"

  • I just used your settings and uploaded a test video to this YouTube account, quality is beautiful. Only question i had, this is a 7 second clip just to see the quality, but the file size is 9 MB which seems kind of large. How big do your long videos (LK) or medium length videos (Sind) come out to be?

  • @eccel9 Lich King was close to a gig. It's not unusual for a video around 10 minutes to be at least 500mb, at high quality settings.

I recently made a ~9 minute video that was very low resolution (640x480) and it was less than 80mb, as a comparison :)

  • @burningwind03

I promise I'll update the numbers and such this weekend! I'll make a post on the forums as well as a note here.

  • Subbed and faved mate, thanks for this hopefully ill start fraps'ing soon <3

  • Important note: When you're in the pan/crop screen, there is a little button on the left (third from the bottom) which says "Lock Aspect Ratio". This button is independent from the option at the bottom with the Yes/No. Make sure that button on the left is not depressed - as in it isn't being used. This is essential for you to be able to crop your videos without resizing them.

  • @PremoGuild Does it matter if I change 1072 to 1080? I play at 1920x1080, thanks

  • That is what she said!

  • I love you Xav!!

  • Thnx alot.

  • Awesome tutorial

    Thanks a whole lot!

  • Thanks! I use this method of rendering for quick uploads now :) Works great

  • When you change the settings on the aspect ratio does youtube automatically compress it smaller?

  • Also, view the video's extended info (MORE INFO) to see the forum thread with all of this in text form, pictures, and video link examples of the video quality this produces!
