The original 1931 Dracula had nothing to do with Halloween, the movie was actually beginning at the night from April 30 to May 1, a dark holiday in Eastern Europe. The classic old horror movies are just for the whole year. In this special it's cool that 3 of them are together, actualy dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde is missing here.
i knw people keep saying it but i used to watch this all the time as a kid. I had all my shows on VHS and last year it got ruined cause i have watched it so many times. LOVE THIS SHOW!!
Oh my god, you just TOTALLY made my year!!! I recently moved away from my family and we used to watch this every Halloween! I didn't think I would get to this year!! :D
I loved to watch this movie when I was a kid and I haven't been able to find it anywhere so THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for posting this! Now I get to share it with my kids! T.V. was so much better back then!
THANKS FOR POSTING i remember this when i was kid i have it taped on VHS i miss the 80s so much i loved the Adventures in Wonderland HALLO-WEEN episode an all
Families used to watch TV together, and so they used to make family movies like this one. Now adults watch tv separately from their kids, so the only crap that ever comes on tv is talent shows and boring dramas for adults, and mindless, overproduced commercials for kids and teens. It's lame. Where is today's equivalent of this?
i love this show every halloween, i would watch with grandpa. It being back memory of my child hood. I wish they made on dvd. I have it on vsc tape it from the tv.
I have The Halloween That All Most Wasn't 1980 with original commercials&Halloween Is Grinch Night 1980 with original commercials-60 min.Dvd,email for info.

cheers to all of you other folks who happy to see this!!
I'm with you will! I never thought i would see this ever again in my life. My mom had it recorded on VHS for us kids when i was like 5. Awesome thanks for the upload!
Notice how those kids in this clip weren't flipping out and raising their voices when talking to their parents. That's something you wouldn't see on today's Disney Channel. It's A true sign that the Disney Channel has gone to hell.
I looked for this on Netflix but they didn't have it. I remember this from back in the day. I think I remember seeing it on Disney. Thanks for posting this.
i had this movie recorded in the early 90's for many years. who knows what happened to it but bless bravorage for posting it! i'm thinking of buying it, first time i saw it was in the early 80's though
lol i have this on tape with garfield's halloween, the worst witch, and disney halloween! black cats and bats and ghosts...make such attractive hosts....
I have been trying to think of this movies name for like three years. I use to watch it all the time when I was a kid. My dad just reminded me of it. Hahahaha. Good times.
I love this movie soo much. I have watched it literally for 25 years since the day I first came into the World in 1983. It's not officially Halloween without it. Open at night and closed in the day. Teeny Tiny Bat. I'm in Germany currently where there is no Halloween so this is a nice reminder of home. Thanks so much for posting.
omg! i love this movie so much! watching old movies and specials like this on halloween make me so happy b/c they bring me back to my childhood. why can't television be as good as it used to? or why can't they just show this on tv anymore? tv execs suck.
Oh my God dude! You're my hero! I couldn't remember the name of this movie, I couldn't remember the actors name, I couldn't remember anything except how much I loved this Halloween special when I was little in the eighties and nineties. I was born in 1983 and I looked forward to this every Halloween! Thank you for letting me relive childhood memories!
I think I've seen it once when I was younger and I'm sooo glad I found it. I'm actually trying to find out if I can contact disney or abc to put this on just one more time. I miss this!!!!
You are doing what the Disney channel itself should be doing and bringing back the classics. People want to see this family entertainment not Hannah Montana every 2 minutes. Remember the cartoon Witch's Night Out???
OMG! I have been looking everywhere for this special! I am sure that a lot of people can relate when I say that I am in my early 20's (I'm 24 now) and I grew up watching this. My mom made sure to tape all of these specials on the Disney channel and during the mid 90's the tapes wore out because we had watched them so much. These are all beloved classics and thank you so much bravorage for posting this.
This is my all time favorite halloween special. I remember looking forward to watching it every single year when I was a kid on the disney channel!! Thank you so much for putting this on here I have been wanting to watch it again for years!!!!
i remember watching this movie as a kid i love it where can i buy it on dvd so my daughter can watch it and we can add it to our halloween collection of movies
OMG I USED TO LOVE THIS I would watch this and the worst witch(because they were on one tape. And I would wear a black shirt, tights, cowboy boots a cape a witches hat and I would sit on a broom while I watched this... god I was sooo obviously gay BUT I LOVE THIS haha
Now I just need Witch's Night Out (the awesome animated special) and my life is complete. Anybody remember that one? Anybody know where I can possibly find it? :)
Hahaa Hell yeahh! This got me though many halloweens lookin forward to watchin it as a Kid, damn, finally found it here! takes me back over 15yrs or however long it was...
I just love Judd Hirsch. I loved him as Alex Rieger (sp?) in Taxi and I really love him in Independence Day as Jeff Goldblum's adorable Jewish father ("Look at me, I look like a schlemiel!"). How great is he here, as Dracula? He really looks the part!! I thought for a very long time that he really was Dracula. LOL.
The last time I saw this I was 5 and my dad showed it on our kitchen wall with a film projector while we sat on the floor and ate popcorn. He had borrowed it from the library. Great memories!!! Thanks... now my kids can see it too!
I am an actual Witch for 13 years now. And I find this as funny as all get out. By the way Halloween goes back 6,000 years ago not 2,000 years ago but 6,000 years. So Mote It Be.

THANK YOU!!!! My family watches this every year. My sister an I can recite the whole thing! Unfortunately, I'm not at home this year so I can't watch it. But thanks to you, the tradition continues!
I thought my family of four were the only ones who ever saw this movie. Whenever I ask people if they'd seen it, they stare at me like I'm a nut and say they had never heard of it. o_O!
Always loved this--thanks for posting. The part where he asks "where is everyone?!" always cracked me up. Did anyone post Mr. Boogedy? Can't find it, and it was always a classic!
Oh my God, my family's been watching this every year for Halloween since before I was born and still to this day. It's so good seeing this still alive in other people's hearts.
Though I think my fondest Judd Hirsch memory is the episode of "Family Guy" where Peter discovers the former "Taxi" star is waging war on the Keebler Elves...
ooooh, my favorite halloween special! i remember looking forward to watching this on the disney channel every halloween. this and mr. boogedy/bride of boogedy. thanks for posting.

Always loved this--thanks for posting. The part where he asks "where is everyone?!" always cracked me up. Did anyone post Mr. Boogedy? Can't find it, and it was always a classic!

Yes! Yes! Yes! I remember back around 1990-ish watching this thing on Disney Channel, back when it had some dignity.

Oh my God, my family's been watching this every year for Halloween since before I was born and still to this day. It's so good seeing this still alive in other people's hearts.

My family as well and we quote it all the time, I still love it, glad to know it's near and dear to others too.

Hey, didn't Shuck play Herman Munster?
Though I think my fondest Judd Hirsch memory is the episode of "Family Guy" where Peter discovers the former "Taxi" star is waging war on the Keebler Elves...

Judd Hirch lives across the street from me.
Wait till I remind him of this one.

M. Hartley's witch was really quite good. I love the fact that she gave her a Margaret Hamilton-like mid-western accent. Nice touch.
