Many INTELLIGENT game houses are starting to forgo having to keep the damn CD/DVD in the damn drive just so one can run the damn game. Spore and Solar Empire are great in that once installed, you don't need the CD/DVD. I have lately stopped buying any game that requires the CD/DVD to be in the drive once installed just to be annoying I guess, it certainly doesn't help stop piracy. I check the game boards before buying to get that bit of info.

That is likely just the framerate of the video. Chances are that the monitor refreshed quite a bit faster.

This is the PC version of the game, It can easily be modified this is why there is a very badly Borgifyed Enterprise-D.
