  • Again thank-you teddie for posting this for almost every situation in my life waylon has a song for me...My wife of 8 years just decided to up and leave no reason or explanation so this song pretty much sums up everything that I have been feeling the past couple months.

  • Yes teddie488. I was living in Dallas, Texas at the time and flipped on the tv one morning and Waylon was singing this song using only a flattop guitar. Dianah asked him if Jack Clement was a real cowboy and Waylon replied "only when he's drunk" and laughed. I won't live long enough to forget that. Thanks for the great posts!!!

  • I think Waylons best music never got radio play. Just us fortunate enough to have bought the albums. This one is a gem....Mooney's steel is great!
