I had this phone before I got a new one and I HATED IT! Especially the numerical keypad! I hated that damn thing so much that I never texted with it even if my life depended on it! And the numeric keypad pretty much makes you watch the grass outside grow 3 feet before it lets you type another character! WORST PHONE EVER!!! In fact, when my brother accidentally sent it through the washing machine and fried it, I thanked him and gave him 5 bucks fr doing that! Best thing he ever did to me!

This phone is just fine for what it is. It's solid and has been reliable for the last couple of years. But I do a lot more txting now, so I wanna get a phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. I have little patience for dialpad typing and iffy touchscreen typing. I also want to upgrade from the blurry 1.2 MP cam. And get something wi-fi capable, so I won't need a 3G network data plan. Oh and there is no way I'm going to use the calendar on the CU515 if I have to dial-type.

Had the phone almost three years. Best feature of the phone is it's solid construction. Feels like you could throw it against the wall and it'd be fine. I'm about to upgrade it and will miss it.

Used to have this phone...it took some brutal beatings, but it held it's own. i loved this phone to death, till it met it's end in the washing machine. Too bad, the phone was a rock, and pretty good looking to boot. It had it's flaws, but it was reliable and didn't freeze up on me at all. i'd give it overall 8/10

my bff has this phone and it is her first cell phone. its pretty good for a starter phone. she wouldnt recomend it to someone who has had many previous phones. not the best phone you could have but still a great starter. i recomend it to parents who want to give their children phones for christmas for their very first phone

Have the phone, I am a mechanic and get sand in my pockets and other stuff all the time. This phone has been through hell and back.

It works great after a year of using no other phone. Highly recommend it.

Phone stinks. The 10 text alerts it comes with are the only ones you can use (forget about making your own) and I can't even use recorded audio for ringtones. This phone is pathetic, don't even think of buying it. Way to go LG/AT&T.

this is probably the best phone that ive ever owned... ive had 6 so far, and this 1 kicks all of the others in the nuts... my only complaint with it is that you cant record ring tones... that sucks. i dont have it anymore because it got stolen... now im stuck with the shitty CE110... up until i go to AT&T on monday, im getting either the LG VU, LG Invision, or the LG Shine.... but i cant decide... comment back with which i should get please...

Oh God, I just ordered this phone the other day, not one but two, one for my little sister. I'm new to AT&T, and I'm a little iffy about the phone because I've read some people like it, and some people don't. I've had blackberry's for awhile I currently have the curve. does anyone who has this phone have issues with it randomly turning off? it's not the battery being dead because when the battery dies, i can still turn it on for a few seconds. but when it randomly turns off, it won't turn on at all until i momentarily plug it in to charge. it's a very strange problem and i've already had at&t send me another phone (same model) but same problem.

no no.. if the battery's dead completely..to the point that the fone turns off..u have to charge it.. n once its somewhat charged.. u can unplug it n it will turn on..

the battery's good for 2-3 days.. unless ur talkin excessively

Great phone......if you are willing to read the manual. The accessories are ok, I purchased the Premium Music Pack (EXCELLENT headphones and a USB wire). I purchased a 4g sandisk chip for it at Best Buy for $35 on sale. Downloaded 90 some odd photos to my VAIO Sony computer and they look good.

the cu515 doesnt have horrible reception -.-.. the video and camera are great as long as you dont move it around too much. and yea so who cares if the phone gets covered in fingerprints? get a case. and the buttons are only noisy cuz u have the message alert tone on loud.. u can put it on vibrate or silent in the settings...

latley, in the middle of phone calls, i hear this loud, screechign soud that remids me of the exorsist. this happens with like everyone i call randomly and the people on the other line hear it too. my friend has the same phone and it happens to her to. also, the screen freezes. camera sucks. sometimes...air bubbles appear on the screen. it scratches easily.

Not helpful at all. I bought the phone, and the printed instructions are to small and light print for my 60 yo eyes to read. This video doesn't explain how to open the ports. What the plug in's are for or even how to use the phone. What would be helpful is a step by step on the process for us less technodeveloped baby boomers.
