This video was made more to explain how the overall GEO satellite system works so that satellite phone consumers can determine if sat phones on a GEO system will be suitable for their specific requirements and potential applications. I will change the title to reflect that. Were you interested in learning about how the satellite itself functions?

@ChromaCommunications Oh ok then, I understand, thank you. Yes I would like to know how one actually works, (stays in relative stillness to the earth). I feel it would be quite beneficial as I can't find any other videos on youtube which do this. Thanks.

Unfortunately we aren't equiped to delve into the extremely technical details of satellites. However, I did find this video titled:

It goes into some generic detail regarding how a satellite stays in orbit...it's not highly technical and perhaps you've seen it already but it covers the basics. Goodluck in your search.
