  • Is Oklahoma the next thing to heaven...I thought it was up to 113 &114 degrees there for days on end! Nice cover....I like the song and the delivery. Hoyt died too young by my thinking.

    Nice homage to Hoyt. He was a great song writer and a decent singer (not to mention actor). His mom put out the best record label ever , Im sure you know (Stax). Truly an under appreciated musician. You did him well. Thanks

  • im from oklahoma and i new ole hoyt axton. down around ada. his momma wrote heart break hotel. he used to cruise through every now and then , his cousin was david boren he used to be governor of oklahoma and now he is prez of o u university . hoyt and his momma,s gone now and he was buried with that 100x stetson he bought at ada. hope it helps a little with history. good job to man real smooth.
